Travelled to Cesky Crumlov 21-23 Sept 2018. We were a family with 4 adults & 2 small kids, one 3 years and another 3 months. We had booked a large room with an additional single bed & another normal room with a double bed. ||A quaint little place, just 30 mtrs from the Town Square. The pension is located on the main street with the river right next door & a number of restaurants in the vicinity. The Rooms were comfortable with no frills attached but had all the facilities in the price we paid. The Restaurant on the Ground Floor caters to the Residents for Breakfast. A reasonably good menu.||The staff were nice & cordial...George was nice to provide us with a kettle for Tea/ Coffee & even offered us discount on our Lunch. He helped us with our luggage too.||Marc is the only other one who spoke English & was very friendly. Though his other colleagues, Lenka & Milus could not speak or understand English, were very helpful & cordial.||On the whole a nice experience !! I would definitely recommend it to those who want to stay close to everything !!||I would definitely suggest that there should be some English Programs on TV to cater for...

Read moreThe location of this hostel is excellent—right outside is Náměstí Svornosti, and it's only a one-minute walk across Lazebnický Bridge to reach the castle area. This makes it a great choice for those wanting to enjoy the night views or catch the sunrise in the morning. However, since it’s in the center of the old town, the main access route involves a lot of cobblestone streets, which can be tough on luggage. The hostel doesn’t have an elevator, so you’ll need to carry your luggage up to the second or even third floor, so be mindful of your strength. The rooms are clean but simply decorated. Breakfast is basic, mostly items from the supermarket.
If you're looking to enjoy city views and save money, this is a good option. But if you want to stay in a place that offers a medieval architectural experience, you might consider other...
