Pension Cortes — Hotel in okres Český Krumlov

Dirty, mouldy, spider-filled accommodation with rude racist host who scams you - go to hotel ruze instead. My husband and I booked this for one night. When we arrived, she only spoke to my white husband and then insinuated I was a mail order bride. I noticed at least 6 large spiders around the accommodation. I asked the host if she could clean properly as there were 6 spiders and cobwebs and she proceeded to kick us out and call me mentally ill and be racist to me (see pictures + chatlogs attached). Then she pretended that we never checked in so that booking.com could find it difficult to refund. Also the booking.com listing is a lie - you do not get the whole place to yourself, she lives upstairs and uses the bathroom. Also the furnishings are old, bed is lumpy + creaky and the entire place smells musty.

Booking.com still have this place listed and their customer service is awful- strongly suggest you avoid and go to Hotel Ruze instead. In addition, her friends post fake reviews (like the one below) to boost...

😊: Fantastic location. Sauna is the highlight! Host was great, took the time to recommend some spots around town. She owns the gingerbread shop and gave me some free samples. Room is nicely decorated. There's a small fridge + a kettle with tea.. 😢: Note that this is only a guest room on the main floor of someone's home. The bathroom is private in that only you use it but it's across the public foyer and down a hall. There's no mirror in the bedroom. Bed could use a new mattress, not very comfortable. Big tub in the bathroom, but the stopper is broken, which is a shame because it would be perfect for a tepid dip after the sauna. Also note, there is a restaurant patio right outside, so curtains must be shut for privacy. Overall, a good deal for a short stay, but wouldn't recommend if you value...

This arrogant lady Gabriela has fake list of amenities on booking. There is nothing except old furniture in that awful smelly room.

She also sold me invalid 2-day parking ticket for 500czk and refused to do a refund. Even on the parking machine there is a note that tickets with magnetic strips are not in use anymore, only with barcode. How could she not know that parking ticket she is selling is not in use? She said I destroyed magnetic strip with my phone!

Avoid this scammer! Do not pay anything to pension Cortes or...
