Enjoyed our visit to Cesky Krumlov with my husband and our 9 month old son. The apartments are in a great location in the middle of the city. The apartment was clean the little kitchenette was great for us with a baby. Negatives for us were that we were given an apartment on the top floor which wasn't very practical with a baby and all the luggage that comes with traveling with a baby. No lift. But I wouldn't expect one in the lovely old buildings. |Unfortunately the water was often cold from the hot tap, I didn't have a warm shower during our stay. Also we had a bath with a hose and shower head, it was a tiny bath and the water pressure was pretty bad. Great for our son but not so good for us. The apartments could also do with air con, it was so warm inside the apartment, because of its central location it was also very very noisy at night so we had the option of opening the windows but having all the bar/dog barking noise or shutting the windows and it being even warmer! It meant our son didn't sleep very well and therefore we didn't either! The kettle was also not working in our apartment. We did mention these things to the reception. We had a nice time but perhaps not the most...
Read moreWe had a night’s stay in the Large Attic Apartment during our visit to Cesky Krumlov in June 2019. Entry to the Pension was at the souvenir shop. As there was no lift, we had to take the heavy luggage upstairs by ourselves, which was quite exhausting. ||||The apartment was large but there was no air-conditioning, so it was quite hot staying in the apartment. We had therefore opened the windows but, unfortunately, there was no wind at all and it was quite noisy with birds calling from time to time throughout the night. We had a bad night’s sleep as a result.||||We were also a bit puzzled about the key which could open both the main door (i.e. the door of the souvenir shop) and the door of our apartment. We just wonder whether the keys of other apartments which could also open the main door could open the door of our apartment as well? If that was the case, it could be a security issue. We did not verify our random thoughts with the host though. It would also be safer if there were lights along the stairs especially at night.||||Overall, the apartment was an affordable stay but there could be...
Read moreWe stayed in the top floor loft and it was extremely spacious (funnily enough, this was our first stop and our room got smaller along the way!).|Our trip was in December and we found the room was warm, great hot water in the shower. Typical kitchenette so nothing to complain about.||Maybe one thing to watch out for is the stairs, a little creaky, not the best for anyone with lots of luggage or finds going up/down stairs difficult.||A final thing, they don't have any parking spaces in the old town so if driving, you will be offered the chance to rent one of the spots from another hotel (to be paid in cash). That parking lot (just a vacant plot over the bridge, so about 5 mins walk) was reminiscent of a dump and a little on the pricey...
