We stayed here 1 night in order to have 2 days in Cesky Krumlov, having arrived from Prague via the (cheap) 3 hour journey by coach. We were in the (only?) ground floor room & although we arrived early - about 09:45, Martin gave us keys & allowed us to leave our ruck sack & other gear in the room while it was cleaned. He & his wife/partner were very friendly & welcoming. The only window in the room looked straight out on to the street, which was reasonably quiet. After a day exploring the castle (closed on Mondays by the way), & having a meal by the river, we returned to our accommodation to sleep. The room was spotlessly clean, albeit a bit "spartan" & decorated in orange, which I didn't like. There was a kettle & some packets of tea/coffee, two hard metal chairs & a fold-down table surface, The fridge was not working, but we were a bit late to complain about that. As it was a hot day/evening, we would have liked to be able to enjoy chilled drinks. The toilet/shower area was sectioned off from the bedroom by an incomplete wall & sliding frosted glass door that did not go up to the ceiling. Visually there was some privacy but none whatsoever from the auditory sense!! Access to the far side of the double bed was difficult due to very narrow floor perimeter. There was a blind at the window that let in light at the sides & a flimsy/organza type (orange!) curtain that did nothing to darken the room. I had a decent shower but it went cold on my husband. We had good Wi-Fi access. The bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable & you could feel the springs digging into your hips! Also, I didn't like the fact that there was just one see-through sheet covering the divan. I think it should have had a mattress protector, changed for each set of guests. With hundreds of people coming & going & sweating into the divan, one thin sheet is NOT enough! We struggled to sleep properly. Then, we got woken by the owner at 08:45 because Martin had not taken our passport details the night before. Cost for the night was 50 euros - no breakfast. We were glad we were not...
Read moreI stayed 3 night with my two sons in a 2 bedroom apartment. It was very clean, beds were comfortable and big, tv in both rooms and a very spacious kitchen with a small bar and 4 seats dining table. The kitchen was very well equipped and even with a barista coffee maker. The street is quite but 30 sec from the Main Street. The hosts were very friendly and we could not have been happier. I’m...

Majitelé jsou velmi vstřícní. Ubytování má velmi pohodlné postele, bylo čisté a obsahuje vše, co bylo pro náš pobyt potřeba. Má i kouzlo starého domu. Byli jsme tu moc spokojení!. 😢: Schody, ale to patří ke všem starým domům v historickém...
