Penzion Teddy — Hotel in okres Český Krumlov

Should have read the reviews here before booking. Cesky Krumlov is a really beautiful place. Pension Teddy is a very short walk to the town center and almost right next to the boat rental place so the location is good. Unfortunately, I did not ask for a room that faces the river. Our room was very small. We faced the street and it was hot while we were there so we had to keep our two small windows open at night. Cars rolling by the cobble stone street and people walking and talking on the street kept us up at night. The stairs were very narrow and difficult to navigate, especially with luggage. Breakfast was adequate but not great. We see the same cereal sitting on the table every single day. They simply put a plate on top to cover them after the breakfast hours. The drain in the shower was clogged. We saw many other pensions in Cesky Krumlov. I am sure one can find something better in this really...

Great location but thats all thats good about it. Stayed here with a group of friends. the worst place we have ever stayed in . As the owner smoked there was always a smell though out the place. The breakfast was awful, no side plates and bread rolls tranferred between tables as people left . There was a bar that was never opened . The rooms were a disgrace and were not cleaned or beds made in the 5 days we were there. The towels were like sandpaper and were not changed in the 5 days . One wardrobe had no rail, so no hangers available. The furniture was old and the drawers would not open. The lino on the floor was in poor condition. They ran out of toilet rolls . The place needs a refit through. There was no service but the owner wanted paying in cash and up front . I can und.erstand why as when looking around this must hae been the worst venue in Cesky Kromlov. DO...

On my very first trip to the Czech Republic, I had the pleasure of being taken to visit Cesky Krumlov by my friends who live in Prague. We decided to stay overnight in Cesky Krumlov and selected Pension Teddy for its convenient location on Rooseveltova (street). My friends’ dog was also welcome to stay with us at Pension Teddy. Parking is also available on the street outside.||We had a room on the ground floor, with ensuite bathroom and toilet, which was nicely furnished and very comfortable. It had a lovely view overlooking the Vltava River. It was also handy to the breakfast room on the ground floor. The breakfast buffet was quite generous and the fresh coffee was plentiful. ||Pension Teddy is located within the World Heritage area of Cesky Krumlov and is easily accessible to all tourist attractions in the old town.
