Hotel garni Mysi Dira (Mouse Hole) — Hotel in okres Český Krumlov

this is not a proper hotel as it looks like in view of the name of the property that appears in their webpage or in tripadvisor, but a bed & breakfast. i do not understand its high rating in tripadvisor||||the location is good, just at the limit of the traffic restricted zone. the property offers carpark in front of the building for 16 euros. in the night, the place is unattended so i cannot say that it is a safe parking space||||the reception closes at 7 pm. the receptionist was not friendly, her attitude was like that from a civil servant finishing the working hours and showed no interest in helping the guest||||no lift and no help with the luggage||||the room was a "de luxe" one, clean and with acceptable size, with a pleasant balcony overlooking the river. nice view. ||||the bed was sufficiently comfortable. there was a small wardorbe with a safety box, an empty fridge and a kettle with two tea sackets (no instant coffee)||||the bathroom had sufficient size, basic amenities and a big bath. unfortunately, there was no hang for the shower had, meaning that the guests need to hang the shower head when having a shower. additionally, therewas no curtain in the shower, so the risk of flooding the bathroom is high||||the windows had net cutains, so the room had too much light as from sunrise||||free wifi did not work||||no air contioned: rooms can be very hot in summer||||a very basic continental breakfast was offered at another hotel in the viccinity||||whereas the room could be paid with credit card, extras like parking are requested to be paid in cash. just nonsense in an accommodation where most of guests are foreigners||||due to bad shower, bat attitude from the receptionist, lack of reception service after 7 pm (not even a telephone number for emergencies was advised) i think that the price paid (120 euros) is bad value for money||||i do not recommend this...

Simple, understated and just lovely! We drove from Prague to Cesky Krumlov for a five night stay and had a warm welcome from Jaraslov on Reception. He greeted us by name when we arrived and gave us a gold card for entry into the museums in the town - we used all but one because the Regional Museum was closed for renovation. Everything about our stay was lovely - if we needed anything, we just asked, otherwise we were left to our own devices. Cleaning was done every day and unobtrusively - fresh towels appeared and the breakfast was great - eggs, bacon and toast plus a full continental buffet with cheese, bread, meats, pastries etc. ||||It was relaxed, easy-going but very warm and friendly. The service was impeccable and unobtrusive. If I had one tiny complaint to make it was that the fridge in our room was pretty ineffective - it didn't really make things cold. But this seems a little churlish when everything else was so nice. ||||The room was a really good size with three big windows that opened out onto the square so we could see all the comings and goings of visitors. Loved it, loved our stay there - and Jaraslov was friendly and helpful. He even helped me with my Czech...

In the 21st century, I didn't expect to see such accommodation, especially in a Unesco city. It will be taken up with the authorities, the TV will be contacted, they refused to refund our money, they refused to return our claim. We will of course ask for the money again! |We travel an awful lot and we have not experienced this in the poorest neighborhoods, not in the center of Cesky Krumlov.|The whole booking process was a big scam as was the accommodation. The room was 8 meters, when ordering they wrote that it would be 15 square meters, but even after that the receptionist told us that no the room was 12 square meters, she measured it. According to the law of the Czech Republic it should have been 13 square meters. In the end the room was 8 square meters!!!! |You will see the rest in the photos and video. We paid 115 euros for one night so you understand the situation!!!You can see in the photos that my husband slept on the bed like in a chest, the whole stay he could not straighten up in the room or in the shower. This was such a humiliating experience. |I am an inspector for abused animals, they are supposed to have a bigger pen according to EU regulation as we -2 people with a dog had a room. We have a hotel in the family, we would never dare to scam a client like this!!!! The dog was charged for as well of course!|There was day old pastries for breakfast every day and I found hair in the veggies. I handed the hair with the vegetables to a worker (blonde with a ponytail, the hair was black from the other worker! -I have two witnesses)|When I asked the receptionist if they were not ashamed to accommodate people in such a shack, she replied "demand makes supply" with a smile and arrogance!||the Czech trade inspection told us that we had to complain about the service||V 21. storočí so nečakala, že sa dočkáme takéhoto ubytovania, zvlášť v meste Unesco. Bude sa to riešiť s orgánmi, bude oslovená televízia, peniaze nám odmietli vrátiť reklamáciu odmietli. Peniaze budeme samozrejme žiadať znovu! |Cestujeme strašne veľa a toto sme nezažili v najchudobnejším štvrtiach, nie v centre mesta český Krumlov.|Celý proces objednávky bol veľký podvod ako aj ubytovanie. Izba mala 8 metrov, pri objednávke písali, že bude mať 15 metrov štvorcových, ale i tak nam recepčná po tom povedala, že nie izba ma 12 metrov štvorcových, že to merala. Podľa zákona českej republiky mala mať 13 metrov štvorcových. Nakoniec mala izba 8 metrov štvorcových!!!! |Zvyšok uvidíte na fotkách a videu. Za jednu noc sme dali 115 eur, aby ste chápali situáciu!!Na fotkách vidite, že môj manžel spal na posteli ako v truhle, celý pobyt sa v izbe ani v sprche nemohol narovnať. Toto bol tak ponižujúci zážitok. |Som inšpektorka pre týrané zvieratá, tie majú mať väčší koterec podľa nariadenia EÚ ako sme my -2 osoby so psom mali izbu. V rodine máme hotel, nikdy by sme si nedovolili takto podviesť klienta!!!! Za psa sa platilo tiež samozrejme!|Na raňajky bolo deň staré pečivo, každý deň a v zelenine som našla vlasy. Vlasy so zeleninou som odovzdala pracovníčke (blondína s copom, vlas bol čierny od druhej pracovníčky! -mám dvoch svedkov)|Keď som sa recepčnej spýtala či sa nehanbia ubytovať ľudí v takejto šope, odpovedala "dopyt robí ponuku" s úsmevom a aroganciou!||česká obchodná inšpekcia nám povedala, že službu musíme...
