Pension Anna — Hotel in okres Český Krumlov

I enjoyed my 3 night stay. It is away from the square so less noise, but is only a 3 or 4 minute walk the main area, so very convienient. I found the breakfast adaquate, it did the job of filling me up, but it was nothing special.||I was travelling solo, but they only had a two level multi bed room available, so my observations are based on that. The foam mattress was wafer thin. Might be ok for children, but as a grown man, I found it totally unacceptable - I could feel the wooden base below when I laid down, so I took the mattress off one of the other beds in the room and stacked them, then it was ok. If there were only one bed in the room I don't think I could have stayed, I would have had to check out.||I was told when I checked in that they only accepted cash. It wasn't a big deal for me, just went to a bank machine and took it out, but if you are having any issues taking out cash, don't leave it till the last minute to fix.||The floors above me were very creaky and I could also hear the people above me talking, so bring ear plugs, as well as one window facing the small street out front would let in noise from the occasional passing car or pedestrain. This might be a problem in the busy summer tourist season, but in mid October, it wasn't too bad.||Overall I found this to be a reasonable place to stay at. My only concern would be if you are over about 175 pounds or so, and are unable to stack a couple foam mattresses together, you might have a painful night's sleep, especially if you sleep...

THe Pension was even better than our expectations! Great location, in the old city, cosy, well kept! THe winter garden very useful for gatherings, it was nice to find electric teapot, tea and coffee free. THe little back garden was tiny, full of flowers, taken care with heart, nice to sit outside!||very friendly family run pension. Though we were advised it is not a buffet breakfast they serve, but it was very rich, with many items including fresh vegetables, including fresh home made cakes, really enough in quantity as well. ||Rubinkova our host, was very attentive, and helpful. Comfortable rooms, clean and well kept, towels changed every day, bottle of water in the room welcomed us.||||It was great! we could park our car in a garage few steps from the pension. Absolutely perfect. We ran extremely late due to an unforeseen traffic incident. We were still warmly greeted. The garage is nearby and plentiful. The rooms are massive. My parents had a suite and it was like a little apartment minus the kitchen! Super quiet street. Bathroom has been renovated and is very nice, shower pressure is great and plenty of hot water. The breakfast is AMAZING and you will not go hungry. The scrambled eggs were delicious as were all the choices of homemade breads! One of the best and most filling breakfasts I’ve had in Europe You can also hangout in an extra room that has a pool table and outside garden. Do check it out, there are tons of plants that are gorgeous and thriving in there! Fun to look around and admire. The location is perfect and a short walk to everything.
