Ericsson Palace — Hotel in Prague

The "Old Town Attic Apartment" is large and sleeps four persons comfortably. The location is hard to beat, with most tourist attractions within walking distance, and the old town square just 100m away. Another plus is free wifi. If I'm going to be picky, the TV is small and old; which normally wouldn't be a concern for me, but I stayed during the 2012 Olympics and wanted to watch a few events during my stay. In addition, it's hard to see much from the windows. The larger windows face a tiny central couryard, and the beams make it hard to look out of the others. It should also be noted that while there is an elevator in the building, it does not go all the way up to the top floor. The stairs up to the top floor could perhaps be of concern for the elderly. Very conveniently located in middle of Old Town. Despite noisy crowds all round, it was remarkably quiet in the inward facing apartment. ||Lovely apartment: well equipped kitchen and nice to have terrace. ||But apartment block is located in pedestrianised area and lift only goes to 2nd floor - no one to assist with luggage over cobbled streets and up to the 3rd floor (steep and long staircase).||Bedroom part was up yet another steep staircase and could not stand upright on stairs. Nice place, nice location. Would not recommend the loft apartment for those with mobility issues as the steps to the bedroom are very steep. We liked the facilities, the location,,the free wifi, etc.||||Why the low score? The day we left, I raised the roller shade offer the bed to allow light in the room.
