Nothing is good in this apartment, except the location. The location is very good, but except the location everything is not up to the mark as per the European standard. During our booking, we were never told that the bed will be somewhere in the loft without any headspace in it, and with very very dangerous stairs to climb up to the bed, so finally we had to bring the mattress down from the loft and put it on the floor sleep for safety reasons. We booked this apartment for five nights and surprisingly no one came even to change the towels after repeated telephone calls to their reception, how can one stay there with just one set of towels for five days, no one came for cleaning as well. No staff to attend. The basic things like hair dryer was like a toy dryer and most of the things were not working, for example, the toaster, chimney etc. I have made some videos and pictures, and I’ll be uploading them here. Basic thing like air conditioner was working, but it was leaking and the water was dripping down on the floor and on our things. please check twice while booking this apartment. We stayed in apartment number 12.

We recently stayed at this property during our two week stay in Prague. We could not have asked for a more perfect location. Nestled right in the heart of the Jewish quarter in Old Town, our apartment was equipped with a washing machine, a full size kitchen, living area, and main bedroom - perfect for an extended stay! Kitchen amenities/utensils were a bit limited, but considering the cost we payed for the suite, a quick run to pick up some odds and ends wasn't an issue at all. This quiet location is an easy 5 minute walk to the Old Town Square and the Starometska metro station. There is a good convenience store just a couple of doors down, but a larger grocery store, Alberts, is a 12 to 15 minute walk away (in the Palladium shopping mall). We would highly recommend this property for your visit to Prague! Rooms: 5/5 |

Despite the excellent location a stone's throw from the center of Prague, I do not recommend this solution due to the poor cleaning and treatment I received: they made fun of me and this is unacceptable. I immediately understood the poor cleanliness of the apartment: as soon as I entered, I noticed the presence of hair (not mine) on the floor. The second surprise: the bathroom bin wasn’t empty. Last but not least: people's hair in the sheets. I immediately called the reception to have the sheets changed and I was told that they would chage them by evening; so it wasn't, I had to call a second time. The second time someone came but just made the bed without changing the sheets. How do I know? I had noticed a stain that was still there and the hairs, even if in smaller quantities, were still present. Disgusting.

When we first stepped into our apartment which was on the 4th floor, we noticed that the kitchen furniture and doors in our unit looked a but more retro than depicted in the photos. But after a while we got used to that retro look, and appreciated the big bedroom, the wardrobe room with ironing board, washing cum toilet/bathroom, and the kitchen. I think the main good things we liked was the big amount of space and the location. The kitchen had oven, microwaves, fridge, plates & cutlery all available. There was also ample lighting and electric points. The TV;s position could be adjusted and unlike some other hotels and apartments, the HDMI port could be used, so we could attach our own Google Chromecast, and make use of the apartment's free WIFI. The washing machine also had liquid detergent sachets provided, and there was an electric drying rack. There was also a safe provided which was big enough to put my laptop inside. Our initial dismay was that our unit was on the 4th floor, and each floor's flight of stairs seemed to have more steps than usual, and we counted about 108 steps from the ground floor to our floor, which was a big deal when carrying up 2 x 25kg luggages without any elevator. We also emailed and whatsapp'd the host a few times, but responses seemed infrequent and a little slow. When we called, that was picked-immediately... But this was something we had tried to avoid. But after those initial hurdles, all was well and we have a very good stay. We had to call our host when we reached Mordecai Twelve itself, and when our host arrived, we walked back with him to the reception / office to make our payment which was a 7-minute walk away. He was helpful and tried to help us look for some shops when we asked. As other reviews said, it's just a short 3 minutes walk to Old Town Square. And 3 minutes walk to the subway station which is just 2 stops away from the Central Railway Station... this is a big deal as we travelled by train to other cities and to take the Airport Express to the Airport. All in all, a great stay and no...

Cave!! I've been in many hotels & suchlike all around the world and our stay at the Mordecai Twelve/Prague Residences last week turned out unfortunately to be the worst by far!||||We stayed there alongside our five-months-old daughter for one night. Upon entering the apartment around 7 pm we found out that the central heating and half of the room lights (including those of the bedrooms & the bathroom) did'nt work, after informing the receptionist (Anita) I was shocked with her irresponsible & indeed outrageous response, that the technician is off-duty and that we had to wait till next morning for the problems to be solved (which would mean spending our night in a cold dark apartment with a baby!). My attempts to reason with the receptionist Anita were in vain & the line got disconnected. I called her back and was confronted with the most unproffesional and even rude tone I have ever experienced in my life before she hung up on me for a second time!!! I was speechless so I went to the other building where the reception is located only to have another unpleasant conversation with her in person, so I asked for the manager and again she dealt with my wish with the least professional way denying me this requist and claiming to be the manager herself!!||||After a long distasteful conversation with her a technician came by a while later and managed to solve the problems before we went to sleep. The technician Mike was on the contrary very helpful, considerate & understanding. ||||Other contras apart from this bothersome experience:  reception lacking at site of the apartment/...
