To echo some of the other reviews, as of the time we went, the rooms were a little out-dated. But you're not going to this hotel for modern rooms.
You're going to this hotel for a wonderful view and a great location. Depending on your room, you may be able to open your window to Old Town Hall across the square from your room.
The breakfast was continental breakfast style. Cured meats, bread, and cheese, with various egg options. They would alternate every day between sausage and [pork belly] bacon. It was satisfying and we felt the value was good.
Although the hotel is in a busy touristy area, the area quiets down around 21:00-22:00 and we never had a problem sleeping. You may have issue sleeping in if you're a late riser. But honestly, the activity of the buskers and others was a good alarm clock. You're in a beautiful city and lively city, go out and enjoy it.
In regards to the staff, the staff was functional and we had no complaints.
The only thing I will warn you about are that the stalls outside of the hotel that sell ham and sausage are over priced. The ham for example is sold by the kilo, although the per kilo is reasonable, you don't have control of the size of the ham. So you could end up paying $20 USD for a big piece of greasy ham and a beer that is twice as much anywhere else.
Although, I normally am fine paying for over-priced food and drinks for good people watching opportunities, I would instead recommend the hotel's outside cafe area. Get yourself an Aperol Sprtiz after breakfast then people and busker watch with a full belly and a good refreshing drink.
Lastly the location was amazing, although a bit of a walk from transit options [I typically prefer to be a block or two from major transit hubs], you are smack in the middle of the tourist scene. Although that could be seen as a bad thing, I found it enjoyable as we were within easy walking distance of activities. It had the added bonus of letting me enjoy the people watching and vibe of the city while my wife rested from all of that walking we...
Read moreI don’t know exactly was told , but. When I looked at your reviews, I saw that many other customers share the same opinion as I do. Therefore;
Let’s start from the very beginning. We wanted to sit down at the restaurant, but your staff member told us—very tensely—that all the tables were full. Even while taking our order, he was nervous, irritated, and not friendly at all. Everything happened exactly as we described. When we said we wanted to eat now, not in the evening, he said that all tables were reserved and that only two tables might be available for immediate dining (even though only one table in the restaurant was actually occupied).
We ordered: • 1 soup • 1 starter • 1 main course • 1 cola • 1 large water
Our goal was simply to taste some local dishes.
He then said the soup was not available.
When our food arrived, we kindly asked for extra plates for the children. Your employee responded by saying: “I can’t give them. The boss says one order, one plate. This is not my problem,” along with several similar statements. We said, “They are children.” He again said loudly: “This is not my problem.”
We thought he wouldn’t bring the plates at all, but he eventually brought them—angrily. We paid the bill and left before finishing our meal. There is nothing incorrect or exaggerated in what I am explaining. He also behaved rudely to the Japanese customers who came after us.
I will visit Prague many more times, but I will never return to this restaurant and I will not recommend...

We booked a king studio suite ( room 102) it was huge, loads of space with hall, sitting room, bedroom and bathroom & plenty of storage. ||This hotel is within an old building and quite quirky in decor which we liked. It is very clean, our room was refreshed daily.||The beds are super comfy and with this hotel being right in the busy square you cannot hear any noise at all when in your room with the sound proof windows. ||I do prefer to have a bath however the shower was absolutely fine, the bathroom was a bit tight and we did not have much room to move about in when getting ready but we managed.||The only recommendations to the hotel is I would suggest a full lenght mirror in the room and maybe a mirror at the desk for applying make-up.||We did have tea/coffee in the room, it would have been nice to hsve had a bottle of water on arrival.||Breakfast was absolutely fine, 3 choices of hot dishes, sauages, eggs, bacon and continental cold meats, salad, breads, cakes, juices, teas / coffee, It set us up for the day ahead and was lovely.
