MONDIEU — Restaurant in Prague

A nice place to have breakfast. I expected a little bit more to be honest. I ordered the Croissant without ham and I can't say I tasted much egg. It was mostly cheese. It was a bit dry I was missing some scrambled egg inside. The Croissant was good and warm. I drank mimosa and my partner drank a passion fruit drink that was really good. He ate the toast with a fried egg on it. He said it was very good but very heavy. We came there again and I ordered the scrambled eggs with parmesan spinach and bread. I got 2 small pieces of bread, like really small. I felt like there should be more bread or different kind of bread with this dish. The eggs were a little watery.. there was a bit of liquid there.. I dont know. So.. not the best eggs i've eaten. I also drank the shake with the kiwi apple and pear and it was not so cold and very sweet. If sugar was added I would recommend to not add it. On 4th January we had a disappointing experience at Cafe Mondieu today that I feel compelled to share. My friends and family decided to visit, hoping for a pleasant outing, but we were met with rude and unprofessional service. Upon entering, we looked for an available table, but the waitress completely ignored us and didn't even greet us. One of my friends found an unoccupied table and took a seat, only to be confronted by an Asian waitress who shouted at us to not sit there. Her approach was incredibly harsh and unwarranted, leaving us taken aback. As she cleaned the table in front of us, her demeanor was filled with acrimony, which made the atmosphere even more uncomfortable. We were ready to spend money and enjoy our time there, but the lack of basic courtesy was shocking. We attempted to find a manager or someone in charge to address our concerns, but unfortunately, no one was available. So I ordered a drink which looked like fresh raspberry drink in the picture they have on the menu. More a smoothie than a drink. They brought me the cheapest juice you can find in a supermarket blended with water and none raspberry taste whatsoever and when I told the waiter I think they brought a wrong drink, he said it's the correct drink although it's not what it's in the menu. Ok fine, I was thirsty and not in a mood to start arguing about this. When the waiter came with the bill he said he had passed on my feedback that the drink was not like the one on the menu and said they will correct this. So basically admitting I didn't get what I ordered. He also apologized the bad quality of the drink. And yet they charged the full price. Usually in cases like this when the customer doesn't get what they order the restaurant offers a discount, so I was not too happy.
