Overall, this is a modest, no frills hotel. The rooms are small. The location is very convenient, making it easy to walk to many attractions (Central Station, Meat Packing district, Tivoli, museums, etc.). The staff was helpful and accomodating.
There are some downsides. This is supposed to be a mid-tier hotel but some parts of it feel like a budget hotel. My biggest gripe with this hotel is the bathroom, specifically, the shower which is not enclosed. There’s no bathtub or stall, only a shower curtain. You step up to the detachable shower head, close the curtain around you, and shower. Within seconds, much of the small bathroom floor is covered in water. This wasn’t what we expected and it was unpleasant. Once you enclose yourself in the shower curtain, it’s very cramped and you can’t move around without touching the walls or curtain. But we got used to it during our four days there. Thankfully we bought flip-flops which made the experience tolerable. If one showers in the morning, leave to see the city, by the time we return from touring in mid/late afternoon, the floor was dry.
The room is adequate, but the bathroom is cramped. There are no hooks, and barely any place to put anything.
There’s no AC, which wasn’t a huge problem in late May. The portable fan did the trick but the room may be uncomfortable in the warmer months. The blanket and curtains had tiny stains. We were not disrupted by overnight noise like some other...
Read moreOverall nice experience. Stayed in a room for three. Hotel is very close to København H station, just 2 mins walk. There is always someone at the front desk 24 hours a day to assist us. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable, one extra pillow provided. I especially liked the security chain on the door, which made us feel safe. However, the hotel also had some downsides. Since we visited in January when the weather was very cold, the heating in the room was insufficient, making it extremely chilly inside. I sneezed every morning from the cold. And, the bathroom door facing the bed, every time when someone goes to the bathroom mid night, the bright light in the bathroom was blinding. The shower space in the bathroom was also small, and there was no waterproof barrier on the floor to prevent water from spilling out, the entire bathroom floor was slippery after showering. There were three of us, but the hotel only provided two towels and three paper cups, with no toothbrushes or toothpaste. We have to buy it from the front desk for 30dkk. We were also surprised to find that even storing our luggage at the hotel required a fee of 40dkk per hour, so we went to the train station, where we could store our luggage for 24 hours for just 90dkk.If the hotel could resolve the heating issue, I would still recommend it based on its price and...
