Fu Hao — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Coming from New York and living in Sweden, I miss good Dim Sum. I introduced my Swedish husband to amazing Chinese food and consider myself quite knowledgeable (he’s close behind😄). We decided to try this restaurant while in Copenhagen and it was underwhelming and disappointing. The place is super hot and the service is extremely slow. We thought they were making everything fresh and that takes time. We are pretty sure what they are doing is defrosting mostly everything. Nothing is fresh and the taste is mediocre at best. The shrimp har gao was unsavory, bloated and stuck together. The sesame balls were dry and the filling stale. What I thought was ham sui gok had faux crab and the dough was hard as a rock. The turnip cake was passable but still awful. Worst part is how exorbitantly expensive it was for such bad food. I was disappointed with the service, We were not yet finish eating but then the waiter gave already the receipt even if we are not yet asking for it. I thought they will be closing, So i asked until what time will they be open and he said 10pm, and i looked at my watch it was only 7:45pm. And i also thought maybe they need the table for new customer but there were a lot of vacant tables. It was like they want us to leave and pay asap. And the worst, they already kept away our plates and food well infact we just stopped for a rest. They dont even asked us first if we were finished or not before they took our plates. Yesterday afternoon, saturday, September 1st 2018, as a birthday celebration, my wife & I were treated by our very close relatives for a sumptous dinner of Dim Sum & other Chinese food at Fu Hao Restaurant, located at the corner of Colbjörnsensgade 15 & Reverdilsgade, 1652 Copenhagen V, just near the Central Train Station. Our relatives lived in Lund, Sweden so we drive to this family favorite Dim Sum Chinese Restaurant for special occasions. They have excellent and very large variety of Dim Sum or Dumplings & Chinese cuisine. The food one orders are prepared quite fast and taste excellent.
