Friendly staff and view of the pyramids from the rooftop. Like many hotels after covid, rooms could use repair and cleaning. Mould throughout refrigerators, hair and stains on bedsheets, shower that didn't drain and broken items made the experience less comfortable than it could have been. We booked the two-bedroom apartment with a view of the pyramids and balcony, and it ended up being two separate hotel rooms, which meant we were separated from the kids, so ended up sleeping in just one of the rooms, and neither room had a view of the pyramids or a balcony. The view and balcony are on the shared rooftop (it was a great view!) We would not have booked this if we knew this to be the situation. Location is a few minutes walk from the second entrance to the Pyramids (the Sphinx entrance) but walking would have been difficult based on the labyrinth roads. Camels are housed along this street at night which was fun for the children to watch in the morning. WiFi was intermittent and about 1-2mpbs when it worked - tethering from a phone is recommended. Booked a tour of pyramids and museum (approx $350 usd for 2 adults & 3 kids) and tour guide was kind and...
Read moreI recently had an amazing stay at the Anubis Hotel, located conveniently next to the awe-inspiring Pyramids of Giza. The hotel's prime location made it incredibly easy for me to explore the iconic historical site, adding an extra layer of excitement to my trip.
The standout feature of my stay was the warm and friendly reception I received from Manu at the front desk. He was incredibly helpful and made sure that all my needs were met, which truly enhanced my experience at the hotel.
Additionally, I was pleasantly surprised by the great car prices the hotel offered for transportation to the airport. It was not only convenient but also cost-effective, ensuring a smooth departure from my memorable visit to Egypt.
I can confidently give the Anubis Hotel a 5-star review for its exceptional location, friendly staff, and convenient airport transfer options. If you're planning a trip to explore the Pyramids of Giza, this hotel is the perfect choice for an...
Read morethe location is very very near the Giza pyramids with an amazing view from the rooftop. Ahmed is a young man that was very hostile and kind. We had cofffee/tean and a nice breakfast with falafel, bread, yoghurt, eggs and banana. As for the rooms, they can use some repairments like for the shower drain and the toilet door. Note: the place is immediately next to the horse & camel garages, but this is the case with probably every hotel near Giza pyramids as the animals are used fo kor the pyramids tours. thus, there can be a strong smell and feces, but we really didn't care much since this cannot be changed. The location via google maps might be a bit confusing: google will take you to the back door, better consult with Ahmed on the correct entrance. All in all,a very good stay,...
