We got the the view that we wanted. We had the view of all three big pyramids and the Spinx of Giza from our room's window.
You can watch the sound and light show while having delicious diner from the rooftop of hotel. We had grilled chicken meal and crispy chicken sandwich. The man knows how to grill meat. You can't go wrong if you want to eat something grilled at Life Pyramids inn. Portions of dishes are more than enough for the appetite of big guy lol.
Breakfast was traditional Egyptian breakfast. Egyptian fallafal, baba ganush (made with eggplant), Egyptian pita bread, Egyptian coffee and salad. They also provide other drinks if coffee is not your cup of tea :) .
Service is great . Mohammed the owner of hotel gave best service to us. He went above and beyond. He was always ready with two bottles of water everytime we entered or exited hotel. He also bought few items for us from market that we needed . He handed those to us along with two bottles of water. :). Mohammed was just one WhatsApp message away for any questions or any help we needed.
Bottled water is free in Life Pyramids Inn. Everwhere else you have to pay for water bottles.
Suite was air conditioned ,clean , cozy and comfortable. Bed is comfortable. Shower has good water pressure. Water heater works as expected. Suite also has fridge for keeping your water cold. We really appreciated the fridge. Cold drinking water is essential to bare Egyptian sun.
Mohammed also helped us arrange one day tour of Giza, Memphis and Saqquara . He also gave us recommendations on where we should go for our second day in Cairo.
Another example of great service. I had to leave for airport early morning at 3:00 am. The uber that I booked was not coming on time. Mohammed quickly helped us in booking other cab to airport.
All in all. Life pyramids Inn is the best place to stay in Giza which won't put a huge dent on...
Read moreBooked this hotel for 2 nights and ended up staying 5.
It is an amazing place, the views of the pyramids and sphinx from the roof terrace are breathtaking. But there is far more to Life Pyramids Inn than the view.
This small family run hotel is spotlessly clean. A lot of attention has been given to the interior design and decor, it is really beautiful. You could be staying in a 5 star hotel chain!
The rooms are spotlessly clean and serviced everyday. Lovely fresh towels, plenty of toiletries, comfortable bed, fridge, kettle- everything you need to be comfortable.
The hotel is excellent value for money and the rate also includes a hearty Egyptian or Continental breakfast, taken on the rooftop. I could never tire of that view!
The location of the hotel could not be better, you are a 2 minute walk from the Giza Plateau ticket office. It is also only a 30 minute Uber ride to the Civilisation Museum or into Downtown Cairo.
Added bonus- you can see and hear the Sound and Light Show from the rooftop!
The owner Mohammed, and his brother Sam, are just wonderful, caring and kind people. Mohammed is always checking that everything is OK. He really looks after all his guests and ensures they are given good information and advice about what to do and see in the area. He is totally honest and trustworthy. He takes the time to listen to his guests so that he then understands the experience they are looking for - he gets that not everyone will enjoy the same things.
Everytime we left the building or returned Sam would be on hand with cold bottles of water - just perfect after exploring hot and dusty pyramids!
I cannot recommend Life Pyramids Inn more highly - stay there and see for yourself how brilliant the place is. Mohammed has created something special and I wish him well...
Read moreLocation: Everyone stays at Giza for the pyramids. The view from the rooftop is amazing, photos are accurate. The inn is located just a minute's walk away from the Giza pyramid ticket office so as long as you can wake up early, you can be the first one in. Another thing great about the location is that its in a quiet spot, we slept peacefully.
Decor: This hotel is very new at the moment, just 8 months old and the decor was Egyptian themed which is really cool since we're visiting to experience the culture and history.
Cleanliness: We're quite particular about cleanliness and the rooms have so far been unfailing clean upon check-in and after housekeeping.
Host: Very friendly and approachable. Each day, Mohamed would ask us our plans for the day and would then advice us or warn us about the areas we're going. Very knowledgeable, ask him anything! For us, when we arrived, we've already booked with tours we found on our own, but if you need, Mohamed is able to arrange any tour for you.
Service: Impeccable! Whenever we return from our day, Mohamed or his staff will always welcome us back with free cold bottled water. Very kind and thoughtful gesture. When we mentioned that we'll need to leave without breakfast for a tour that starts early morning, Mohamed offered to pack us sandwiches instead.
Bonus: We are always interested in the food culture of a country we're visiting. At Life Pyramids Inn, the breakfast is prepared by Mohamed's mother. The falafel and aubergines dish (forgot the name) were so good! We didn't expect to be able to taste home cooked Egyptian food! You MUST opt for Egyptian breakfast instead of continental if...
