Magic golden pyramids — Hotel in Giza

Found this place after being approached on the street. By Husain a very nice and cheerful heavy set man. After agreeing to rent one of the rooms for a month, my wife and I moved here the next day. Apon arriving and being asked to pay, suddenly the price was raised by 1000 pounds, after refusing to pay any extra they backed down. We asked to have the lock on the window repaired because the room is on the first floor, until the time we left that wasn't fix or even suggested to be fix by the owner. The kitchen had a leaky drain that took them 2 weeks to repair. The floors where never cleaned by the staff (washed them myself a few times because it was so disgusting). When we asked to have better internet provided (because the only router is in the entrance and the signal vary weak everywhere else) we where ignored for 3 days. Finally I set up an extra router that wasn't being used so all the guests can enjoy. No thank you. When there internet package ran out we where asked to pay extra because it was our fault for using up there package. When the key to the entrance broke in the lock (because it's not being maintained) we again where asked to pay. The roof terrace is very nice and when we arrived there was a very nice shaded sitting area that a week after we arrived was dismantled because they decided to begin building a new room up there while guests are staying. Me and my wife had the pleasure of staying at Magic golden pyramids inn for three nights. We had a room at the terrace with amazing view over the pyramids and the Sphinx and the room was really good and had everything we needed and the breakfast was super good. The staff was really friendly and the owner (Adel) got his driver (Hamada) to drive us to Alexandria, Memphis, Saqqara and other places and there are just no words good enough to describe those guys. If you are planning to a low budget shorr term trip to Egypt, where you can enjoy watching The Great Pyarmids Complex from a close distance, this hotel would be your best choice. location: very good (roof view is amazing).
