We planned a fun family vacation to Florida for Thanksgiving before our son left on a two year mission for our church. Some things came up and the trip fell through so we decided to go to Deer Valley instead. We booked a luxury condo through Lespri and regret doing so. Upon arrival, we checked in with Lespri and they gave us our keys to the condo along with a number for the maintenance man. At first, the condo seemed pretty nice. We tried to turn on the fireplace but it was broken. We called the front desk and the guy there said "sorry it's broken ". There was also a funny smell coming from one of the upstairs bedrooms. We did some investigating and noticed the shower in the bathroom attached to that bedroom was full of mold. We tried to call the front desk again but they were closed for the weekend. We called maintenance man and only got the answering machine so we left a detailed message. Several hours went by and no return phone call so we decide to fix the problem ourself. It was the night before Thanksgiving and no stores were opened. We finally managed to find a store and bought some spray bottles, cleaning supplies and bleach . While we were cleaning the shower our 3 kids decided to sit in the hot tub. They were complaining that it smelled funny so they got out. The next day our 11 year old daughter woke up with a large rash all over her face and body. Once again we tried to call maintenance and still no answer. The condo was also full of spider webs, looked like it hadn't been deep cleaned in quite a while and the dishes even smelled funny and were super dirty. We tried to make the most out of the last weekend with our son and wished we would have booked it through a company that actually cared about their customers. When we checked out and gave the key back, we told the front desk guy about our experience and he said a manager would be contacting us and we would somehow be compensated. No one contacted us. Finally we contacted Sarah who was the customer relations manager at the time. She said that she would get back to us. She never did. So we called her again. After multiple tries, we finally got a hold of her. She once again said she would get this figured out and would contact us. She never did. Finally we emailed the manager Pat Quigley several months later. He said he would call us but never did. It has been almost a year since our experience and still no phone call. We will never book another vacation through Lespri which is sad for them because we visit and stay in park City on a regular basis. In fact, we also frequently travel to Jackson Hole and Sun Valley and have never booked through a place with such lack of concern for their customers. This is the first review I have ever written and I really didn't want to write a bad review about Lespri. We have given them plenty of time to make it right and it is apparent that they really don't care. There are plenty of luxury condos out there and plenty of property management companies. My recommendation would be to book your place through...
Read moreBeware of Club Lespri Management Company and their manager Sara. This is the very first time I have ever written a negative review But after considerable thought I decided to go ahead to possibly help a future customer. Lespri was the management company of a recent Vrbo winter rental at Hyatt Escala Park City. . First they tried to overcharge for the exit clean. Next the daily clean which they said was comparable to a hotel for $77 daily was superficial at best and did not include linen changes as initially promised, or I initially understood. The Issue was they never provided anything in writing. To make matters worse Sarah took it upon herself to place an additional charge on the next credit card statement after agreeing to deduct an overcharge on the statement before. She then came up with yet another fabricated service their cleaning company ticketed that I ultimately had to dispute with my credit card company. She also initially never returned any calls and when she finally did communicate we we t back and forth only to find our that Lespri doesn't even provide their own cleaning. They outsource to another company! So they also have no idea what the company is providing for the clients. The amount of angst created over a $123 overcharge was incredible. Not to.mention the arrogance to agree to credit $77 to then overcharge $123 the next statement. It is the principle. Without even a word when we spoke by phone, or warning that this could happen. In the end, the credit card company reversed their charges after their investigation and issued a permanent credit to my account which speaks for itself. But they really have alot to learn about customer service and taking a customers word! . So beware! If you elect to contract with Club Lespri management for cleaning services get everything in writing and be on the lookout for overcharges which may not even show up until the second credit card statement post ...

I entrusted my townhome to Lespri for the Winter ski season in Park City. I really wanted to work with a local company and since Lespri was working with our HOA for our common areas, I presumed they would be capable of managing my property (I later found out that our HOA ended their contract for unknown reasons).
On the plus side, they do seem organized and handled guest issues and turnover of the property in a timely fashion. That said, their bookings were extremely sparse in the prime ski months of January and February. They only generated one booking in January for the first three days of Sundance, leaving it unoccupied for the rest of the festival. Only one guest was booked in February, for a total of eight nights.
With no bookings on the calendar for March, I decided to move back to town early and that's when Lespri showed its true colors as a business. On my final statement they billed over $1100 for "maintenance" in a month where there was only one guest stay.
The final bill included a raft of charges that normally would have been billed at a quarter-hourly rate being billed at full hour rate of $110. They charged $280 for a snow delay for housekeeping (whatever that means). They even socked in a $27 charge for tissue, which isn't something owners are responsible for with guest stays. I've lived in this new-build townhome for over two years and haven't had to spent more than a few hundred dollars on maintenance, yet Lespri managed to rack up over $1100 in maintenance for a week-long guest stay.
As an owner, all these excessive maintenance charges look like an attempt to maximize revenue in a slow season. Sadly for Lespri, it's a downward spiral because I will never work with them again, and I'm sure other owners feel the same way after being handed a padded maintenance bill like this. See the attached bill for what you can look forward to as an owner working...
