I was in town specifically to visit with friends for a few days, so I didn't spend nearly as much time in this charming homestay as I would have genuinely liked. ||||I had a very nice room that opened up to a WONDERFUL little balcony overlooking the street. Despite being right on the street, the room itself was well insulated from any noise (it's not a particularly busy street) and the bed was very comfortable. This was especially important because I hadn't been very comfortable, or getting very good rest, at the hotel I had just been staying in up in Hanoi. Everything was well maintained, which was also not the case at the aforementioned place in Hanoi. In short, it was just what I desperately needed!||||Every interaction I had with the proprietors was pleasant and sweet and, again, I wish I had been able to visit with them more.||||The homestay is a very short distance from the main street leading to Ancient City. There are many delicious options for just about every level of dining in every direction. Every recommendation made was exactly what I was hungry for!||||I would gladly...
Read moreThe property's location is ideal—just a short walk from the Ancient Town, which makes it conveniently accessible while still being in a quieter, less tourist-heavy area. The surrounding neighborhood is filled with local eateries, convenience shops, and cozy cafés, making it easy to explore on foot.
I appreciated the strategic location, but what really stood out was the hospitality. Mr. Hieu and his team were exceptionally helpful, offering great local insights and personalized recommendations on where to eat and what to see in the area.
I was also impressed by their commitment to sustainability. Drinking water is provided in reusable glass bottles, available as needed—a thoughtful and eco-friendly touch.
Additionally, I was offered a complimentary bicycle, which allowed me to explore further out, including a lovely ride to An Bang Beach. Overall, a pleasant and well-rounded stay that I’d gladly recommend to others visiting the area.
Only setback was the hot water shower...

From guests in common room downstairs and also because it’s a guest house, you can hear bit of noise from family and kid and noise travels through. However, for most of the night it’s quiet so I still got a pretty good sleep. But otherwise, the location here is great! Very close to all the main streets. Also even though the owner doesn’t speak much English, he was aooo friendly and gave me tips everyday on what’s app on what to do, what to see. He was extra nice and gave me great breakfast in the morning. Recommend the breakfast! Very happy with their service, also the other staff were very nice and organised tours for me. Felt very comfortable here and...
