These pop up markets have something for everyone, no matter what your taste or budget. They are conveniently located inside the Southbank precinct. I especially appreciate the accessibility offered by the open paved area. You can find clothing (babies to adults), scents of every kind, psychics, fudge, food trucks, jewellery and so many other things. Most are made by the stall holders and are ethically made. It is easy to find items for vegan philosophy. A nice way to enjoy a few hours on the weekend.

I finally bought the handmade western bag I've wanted from before. Surprisingly, the artist who made it himself was selling bags at this store. Considering the quality and his efforts, his bag was sold at a very friendly price. 怐About this markets怑 The size of this market is not large, but it is tidy and easy to see products. There are cafes and restaurants on the other side of the market, so we can enjoy food and coffee while shopping.

The Collective Markets at South Bank are a vibrant showcase of Brisbane’s creative and cultural spirit, held every Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday. Nestled along the South Bank precinct, the markets have a lively, festival-like atmosphere, with rows of stalls offering everything from handmade jewellery and fashion to homewares, artworks, and unique gifts. It’s the perfect place to find something special and support local artisans.

Beyond shopping, the food stalls and nearby eateries make it easy to grab a bite while you browse, and the markets often feature live entertainment, adding to the relaxed, social vibe. The location is unbeatable—set against the backdrop of the Brisbane River, lush parklands, and the iconic Streets Beach, making it easy to combine a market visit with a day of exploring South Bank.

The markets are popular with both locals and tourists, so they can get busy, especially in the evenings, but the energy is part of the charm. With their mix of creativity, variety, and atmosphere, The Collective Markets are a must-visit for anyone wanting to experience Brisbane’s...

More than 100 local creatives set up shop in the bustling Stanley Street Plaza on weekends, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Take your time moseying about the markets, and you’ll discover that works from local photographers, discerning crafts, collectables and vintage fashions are also part of the eclectic mix. Afterwards, soak up a spot of live music strummed by local musicians, or retire to a nearby cafe or watering hole to watch the world continue to bustle on by. There’s nothing quite like discovering something that has been handmade and has a beautiful story attached to it. By shopping at The Collective Markets, not only will you discover such treasures, but you’ll also be showing your support for local creative entrepreneurs, emerging designers and...

The markets have a variety of stalls ranging from crystals, candles, jewellery and clothes with a fortune teller thrown in for good measure. My sister and I have visited markets all over the world and I have to say the stalls were what you'd expect on the whole. The crystals lady was outstanding and the Bee Bonny products were lovely. The stalls are set up in one long line in front of a variety of restaurants and cafes. That was different. The markets are set up permanently and go from 10am to 9pm. I enjoyed our day at the collective markets but I am not clamouring to return. They are worth a visit. Southbank Brisbane is the real attraction....
