No complaints about the food, but BE AWARE of the SERVICE.

We were seated at a table that had no reservation, ordered food and drinks, and then ordered more drinks. Since we had laptops on the table and didn’t want to be rude, we kept ordering—so you can imagine that our bill wasn’t small.

After two hours, one of the waitresses silently placed a small reservation note on our table without asking us and quickly disappeared.

When we managed to catch her colleague, she explained that a larger group was coming and that we should leave if we couldn’t find another free table ourselves. We were speechless—we had never experienced anything like this before.

Then, another waitress came over and, in a very rude manner, confirmed the same thing, again emphasizing that they were expecting a bigger group, so we must leave or find another table. Fortunately, a table became available, and we moved—but that was not the end of the story.

We had to clean the new table ourselves as we were completely ignored. When we tried to order more, we were once again ignored. Meanwhile, the table next to us was served quickly, but the two waitresses deliberately turned their backs on us. After more than an hour, when we had less work and were finally ready to leave, we placed an order at the bar, where the bartender was very kind and polite—a stark contrast to the waitresses. No sign of an apology from them, nothing.

We ended up spending more then 1,300 CZK, and funnily enough, the five people we were kicked out for were only drinking tea and one large bottle of water.

So, while the food is good, there are much better places along this street where customers are treated with care and respect, and your mood won’t be ruined. I do not recommend this place as long as the same staff is working there.

After we were seated, we had to wait around 20-25minutes to get the first dish. Taking into consideration the business and location of the place, it’s absolutely normal. The staff was attentive and kind, ready to help. The highlight of the experience was the Slovak seating lady by the entrance - she is a gem, going out of her way to find a place for our group of 5. Thank you ❤️

The food was alright, although the “Breakfast menu” could use a bit of salad on the side. The waffle’s were nice, the mint was a nice touch. It was the eduaction of the staff that could use A LOT of improvement. One of our friends has a gluten-free diet and although they have a gluten-free bread option (for extra fee), when we asked if they were able to prepare it in coherence with this allergy, they recommended the “vegan waffle” option. Upon receiving it, we made sure to ask again. The server went and asked the kitchen, only to return with the response: “The cook didn’t know so they had to Google it.” Of course it had flour.

When asking for a replacement option, we were faced with the fact that they had a dessert option that was suitable - however, for a fee of (50czk). So my friend had to pay the whole price of the breakfast (waffle included) + the fee of the cake on top of that.

If you ask me to describe this place in one word it would be disappointment! The biggest problem of this place is service. The stuff is very arrogant,rude and slow. They mixed up the order, but, what’s more important, they didn’t even apologize for it. They behaved like they made a great favor to you-that’s was very unpleasant. Then when we asked the waiter till what time kitchen is open, he said till 9. But then it turned out that the kitchen was open till 7. At 6:50 another waiter without a word took the menu from our table. But we were “lucky” to order beforehand. Ok, kitchen closes at 7 but have you ever heard that restaurants don’t do “hot drinks”(I mean tea/coffee) one hour before closing? At 8 when we wanted to order tea, they said that they didn’t do it! Seriously?! I just wonder if the owner knows about it :) So,guys, if you want to warm up with a cup of tea or coffee, don’t go there after 8) The final straw was that at 8 they started cleaning bar with vacuum cleaner! Probably they wanted people to leave so we and another customers left.

To sum up kitchen is ok, but it doesn’t worth to go there only because of it. Fortunately there are a lot of good places to...
