Read moreI needed a new suitcase after mine cracked while traveling to Tokyo. After reading many good reviews about this place--there are many other Ginza Life stores around Tokyo, carring similar products--I had to investigate as I was about to just go to Don Quiote to purchase the suitcase. The store assistant was so helpful; she took her time to assess what I needed and did not try to upset me. She was honest in saying that if I travel regularly with the one I was interested in, it would last be 7-8 years. She also setbthe combination lock for zipper for me. The Ginza Karen-branded, mid-sized suitcase I picked out was sturdy and colored Iron Man red. The interior stitching looks strong and well-made. Read moreI have previously purchased from Ginza Karen a couple of years ago and am genuinely shocked at how much worse the store/brand has become. The selection and prices for cabin sized luggage bags are abysmal. I went to both locations and the Asakusa one was much worse in my experience. The ningyongcho location was in a less busy area however the store itself was already full with only 5 or so customers in the shop given how space is incredibly limited. There was also one poor guy serving the customers in the store however he remained friendly and professional, so kudos to him. I won’t be returning to Ginza Karen anytime soon. I ended up buying an extremely affordable carry on bag from D. Kelly, also in Asakusa just steps away from the Ginza...
