Maris Gina — Local services in Tokyo

Great salon if you're travelling through Tokyo and need a wax. I asked for the sugaring Brazilian wax. I've never had sugaring before and usually I do find waxing quite painful. This experience was painful but the lady was so lovely and patient. She also explained at the end the aftercare, which is something I haven't had the other times I've been to a waxing salon.

On a separate note though, I would probably not try sugaring again. Whilst both sugaring and waxing strips are both painful, the waxing strips took less time so less time in pain. But if you are good with pain then I think this would be okay for you.

Since I didn't know the language at the time, I was very worried on the first visit, but Kath's professional skills and how pleasant she is, quickly made me calm down and feel comfortable, she also advised me on after care procedures. They think they have the monopoly in the sugaring in tokyo and hence there is no value of customer and their money. They put their policy before customer. I don’t think they give value to your money. Management person is so rude and have non professional attitude. All of these maris gina tokyo stores are worse in terms of their customer relationships and professionalism.
