Went in, asked if they had the MoonSwatch, was quickly told no. Then the male store manager asked me which color I liked, and I told him I want the Mission to Mars version. He asked why, I said I just liked it… feeling a little strange at this stage with the Q&A. He then asked his colleague, a friendly young woman, to see if they might have stock still (right, "might," as if they don't know). She came out moments later with the watch I wanted. The manager was no longer there and I asked the friendly lady if they might also have the Mission to Saturn, as my friend wants that model and we do not have a Swatch store where I live. She gladly obliged and went back and got me one of those, too. So, they clearly have stock! I was about to pay after the young woman had filled in the warranty slip when the storage manager came back and started barking at her for selling me two watches and made her not sell me that second watch. Her and I were both embarrassed. I tried to reason with him: I am not a scalper, and I have literally been to 3 Swatch stores in 2 different countries previous to this to try my luck. I don't own a Swatch but own two Omega Speedsters. This is a fanboy purchase. In any case, I got my Mission to Mars. But note that they lie about not having inventory, and they enforce a 1 watch for 1 buyer policy that is nowhere visibly explained. The whole experience left me with a negative impression. Read moreThe lady who works here need to be fired, with her artificial smile and rude unprofessional attitude. I went in asking for a certain model and she had the nerve to ask me to go outside and check all the models in the window! like how did I miss them?!! ya, I came inside like any normal customer to ask for an item, customers don’t always look at the window of shops they buy from, and YOUR job is to help them and not make fun of them. to make things worse, he attitude was like you should thank god i’m selling you this watch, and believe it or not she didn’t show me the item I bought! even after paying although she opened the box and showed the customer before me his item but hey he spoke Dutch so maybe he is a better customer in her book!! in addition, when I asked for the Tax free refund papers she replied that she would not accept to do the paper work if there were a long line of people waiting! I replied but there is only one person waiting besides me!!! so ya, she thinks she is doing me a favor by doing her job. Swatch, you are better than that, better than this S@$$! attitude of this...
Read moreSo...after reading the reviews, I was more than hesitant about visiting to get a new strap for my watch. I visited on Sunday afternoon, around 14.50 and had a great experience with the ladies there. They were helpful with finding a strap that went well with my watch and then came the difficult part - adjusting the size so it fits my wrist. Unbeknownst to me, I picked a style that was quite difficult to adjust but the folks on their Sunday afternoon shift were so patient with the process. At one point, they could've easily encouraged me to just accept the size even though it wasn't the best fit but they didn't. They also showed some great team work which was so nice to see - one lady came to help the other one as she was getting tired from the difficult strap. Anyway, they spent almost an hour helping me out and helping out other customers at the same time. It really made my day!...
