I was in Atlanta for business recently and stayed at the Whitley Hotel. It was there that I was introduced to BYREDO because the hotel provides their bath products to the hotel guests. The fragrance is called LE CHEMIN and it was love at first scent! I had to have it and learned that the products provided in the rooms could be purchased at the spa in the hotel. I was able to purchase the body wash and the lotion but was hoping they also had a fragrance as well. Kim at the spa stated they only carried the bath products but informed me that a new BYREDO boutique opened in Phipps plaza. I can't even begin to express my excitement and hightailed it across the street the minute I got the chance. It was there that I met Taylor. I told Taylor why I was there and asked to have a sample of LE CHEMIN perfume with every intention of purchasing a bottle to take back home to Connecticut with my matching bath products. Taylor let me know in the gentlest of ways that LE CHEMIN was the Whitley hotels signature scent and a perfume was not available. What?! Taylor said how sorry he was but asked me to allow him to introduce me to some of BYREDOS other fragrances. Taylor was so kind and patient with me as there were so many fragrances that I loved but just couldn't decide! After some time I chose a fragrance and can proudly say I wear BYREDO products exclusively and have made a friend to boot! Taylor is wonderful and is available for me anytime I need him. In fact the entire PHIPPS Team are just awesome! If you are in the Atlanta area I implore you to take some time to visit the Phipps plaza BYREDO boutique. I promise you won't be...
Read moreI came here to finally purchase fragrance after checking out this store in NYC and contemplating it for awhile, I was ready and excited. My friend and I came in and began smelling the scents, no one was at the front of this store at the time. After about 3 minutes, a male sales associate came up to us and asked “can I help you?”. The way he said he and the way he looked at us let me know that he was annoyed we were even in the store.
He immediately seemed as though he assumed we were not going to make a purchase. My friend then asked what the costs of the perfumes are because she had never heard of the brand or been in one of their stores before. He answered her question and then walked away without offering further assistance. No information about any of the scents was offered, no offering to show us anything, or stay with us to offer assistance while we worked our way through smelling the scents. No one else was in the store at this time, it was only us.
The way he treated us and made me feel even that short time being in the store made me know this is not somewhere I want to spend my money. Why would I spend money purchasing a luxury perfume only to not receive luxury or even kind treatment at the bare minimum? I’d rather take my money somewhere else which is...
Read moreI usually do not write reviews - but the problem with the world today is that we often do not recognize people/organizations that are exceptional. I did not know Byredo and was just walking through the mall - I bought a small sampler as I didn’t find anything for me personally but I’d connected with the salesman - Taylor - while I was there. It was such a lovely experience. But, here is the REAL compliment. With the samplers he gave me - my husband smelled it and fell in love. I live in OHIO and travel to GA often and HATE shopping on line. He sent a follow up email and it encouraged me to buy a bottle of perfume and have it delivered to OH for my husband. We did the entire transaction via phone/email and it was all thanks to him being exceptional when we first met and following up without being pushy. Customer Service is a lost art and creates lifetime loyalty. I will now be a Byredo customer for life bc of Taylor. Thank you Taylor and thank...
