TLDR: Disappointing results despite the raving reviews.

Pros: -Quick customer support response. -Easy pickup. -Product completed on time. -Fairly priced for amount and size. -Good Flavor.

Cons: -Does not take responsibility for their errors and places the blame on the client. (no apology within the first email exchange between owner and client)

Responded to client complaint stating that "[Client] should have been more specific". Yet, when asked for a screenshot of the additional specific information given, while ordering the cake in the space provided on the website to verify request and said miscommunication/lack of specificity, no response or screenshot was provided. *if the designer is unsure or confused they should reach out to the customer.

-When the client stated the cake was dry, the response from this company was to ignore that complaint and claim the client was unsatisfied about the flavor. The only mention of the taste of the cake was in hope to give a pass on the poorly planned design.

-Contradictory policy "guaranteed satisfaction and exceed expectations" - "refunds not accepted [...] be sure of your design" even when the requested design of the cake was not followed. as well as "any changes made after initial agreement are subject to additional fee" so therefore if a customer is unsatisfied they must pay more for the changed needed to be made *consider revising.

-Claims to not be able to copyright designs, " Please be advised that all submissions are used for reference. Your final design will reflect the work of Fashionably Kaked as we do not copyright other designer's work." Yet this company showcases cakes they have designed on their website and instagram that are exact replicas of other franchises. Such as but not limited to, Coco Mellon, Nissin ramen noodles, Corona beer bottle. *but placing a $12 inedible fondue replicated baby shower cake topper was found acceptable. Purchased, not created or designed by the company.

Sloppy work on the happy birthday banner, as it was double printed and haphazardly placed decorations on the cake.* The cake was requested two weeks in advance and thus this error should have been fixed before delivery. Indicating either incompetence of negligence of quality work.

No need for a response from the owner, mistakes happen. Just do better...

This place robbed me. I spent 200 dollars on a specialty cake for my son's birthday. I gave them 2 reference pictures and a detailed description of what I wanted. They completely didn't do what I asked for. The cake was sloppy, very dry (my 4 year old son wouldn't even eat it and he loves cake), my son's name was printed out on a very small banner, all the way at the bottom, the last two letters were double printed and the designer was too lazy to even reprint his name. It was so unprofessionally done and I sent them pictures of the evidence in comparison of what I wanted verses what I got. The receptionist said there must have been a miscommunication. So I said I needed a partial, if not a full refund. They denied even the partial refund request. Never again will I ever buy a cake from this place. I refused the "free cake voucher". They said I can use it for someone else. Like, no,. I don't want to even look at another cake from this place, I just want the money they did not earn, back in my possession. Absolutely unprofessional and down right rude. The pictures online look very professional, but I promise, they will give you your cake the day of the event, there will not be any time for redos, and your money will be gone with no refunds, period. Even all the guests at the party said the cake they gave me was a joke and hoped I would get at least some of...

Fashionably Kaked did an excellent job with the cake I had designed. I was given a thorough consultation initially. Selena was professional and thorough in communicating what would or wouldn't be feasible in creating my custom cake. I appreciated her suggestions to make sure my cake turned out the way I wanted & could be transported safely without falling or melting.
