Ok my friends! Here is a good one for you. As you can tell i DO NOT give 5âď¸ easily. Let's start with Valet. Very respectablly young men Always polite and patient PLEASE TIP THEM. No free parking - this is a pain in the butt. If you opt to look for free parking you may end up with a parking ticket or a tow. Don't waste money just valet with 180 Parking Solutions. I want to say valet is lime $20
Now for the food- I know this is why you are really here lol.
Let me say this establishment got it right! Outstanding customer service. Please try to get Sean/Shawn (not sure of his spelling) He did not miss a beat! Also ask to be seated with Obi. Honestly these guys are wonderful. The management staff was on every follow up immediately. The attentiveness I watched them with every guest dining and at the bar.
Now for the food! Really good
I have had the salmon & grits - the lobster bites - lamb chops - ahi tuna app - mussels - bread pudding - tiramisu - watermelon salad
Salmon&Grits: Seared to the exact temp i requested (med rare) not every chef gets this right. The grits do have cheese so it you have restrictions pls let them know. This entree is very good! I would like a bit more seasoning on the salmon flesh but presentation and taste is a 5.
Lamb Chops: I like Med Rare as well these are ok from time to time depends who is working i guess. This needs a bolder flavor. They are good but for me bc i can cook I would change the seasoning choice- it is worth you trying! I give this a 4âď¸
Mussels: Mussels is a tricky dish bc not everyone can get them perfect every time. This trip they were perfectly tender. The show for me of this dish is the broth it comes in. OMG I love it as a soup. I took the left overs and ate it with a piece of french bread & butterđ(pls don't judge me) lol 4.5
Ahi Tuna: If you love Salt&Vinegar chips or acid type foods you will love this appetizer. My daughter devoured this. I am not an acidic person so I passed this off. The tun was seared perfect it was good but not for me 4 for this
Lobster Bites: 5 off top! Pls be mindful this appetizer is $35
Tiramisu: IF YOU like tiramisu then you would love this. I just do not like wet cake.
Bread Pudding: It is good for a bread pudding. I think it needed more liqueur or maybe Grand Marnier. 4âď¸
Just to let you know you can easily spend $250
My bill + tip was $235 3 appetizers & 2 dinners
It is a little loud but it is a bar vibe restaurant and it looks really nice inside.
Please go and enjoy!!! I highly...

Read moreWalking into MCK Restaurant & Bar in Buckhead, youâre immediately embraced by an atmosphere that is nothing short of breathtaking. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between upscale and welcoming, making it ideal for both an intimate date night and a refined night out with friends.
Service: The service here is consistently unmatched. On our most recent visit, our waitress Amina delivered attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service that elevated the entire dining experience. Adding to the warmth, managers Grace and Kareem personally came by our table to check in, and their professionalism and genuine hospitality were noteworthy. The only service hiccup came at the very beginningâthe hostess who seated us was noticeably off and a bit rude, which was out of place compared to the otherwise stellar staff.
Food: The food at MCK continues to impress and keeps me coming back. This visit was no exception: ⢠Braised Short Rib (8/10): Tender and savory, paired beautifully with creamy mashed potatoes and a rich brown gravy. A comforting yet refined dish. ⢠Lobster Bites (10/10): The highlight of the evening. Perfectly seasoned, incredibly fresh, and cooked to perfectionâan absolute must-try appetizer. ⢠Brussels Sprouts: Nicely seasoned with a dipping sauce that paired well. Slightly overcooked, but still flavorful. ⢠Mexican Street Corn: Bursting with flavor and zest, though it leaned a bit salty for my taste. ⢠Drinks: Strong, well-crafted, and consistently good. At MCK, you canât go wrong with any cocktail on the menu.
Overall Experience: This was my third visit, and each time seems to outdo the last. Despite the minor service misstep at seating and a couple of small tweaks that could elevate the sides, MCK remains one of the standout dining experiences in Buckhead.
Final Verdict: MCK is a restaurant that delivers across the boardâremarkable food, unmatched service, and a setting that feels special from the moment you walk in. Highly recommended, especially for a date night or anyone looking to enjoy Buckheadâs elevated dining scene.
Rating: 9/10 â A must-visit and one Iâll continue...
