Iām going to use color and descriptions because this location needs HELP! Mid aged white man manager behind the counter was cool. Welcoming, smiling, informative but I think he got busy so I didnāt see him after he greeted me and informed me about Sephora not carrying Bare Minerals anymore. I really liked him. My family has lived in Buckhead since the 80s. We have properties surrounding that whole location. I normally donāt shop in that store but we had a family meeting that day so my brother and I stopped in to shop. I have also previously worked for Sephora for about 2 years, in Miami-Aventura Mall in the beginning of my personal career outside of my family business. After the manager greeted me it went down from there. Heavier set white girl was on the floor and I asked her about the 50% off product of the day which she didnāt know what it was and was extremely condescending and not rude but really not nice or welcoming at all. Just answered my question and walked off. Which is strange because some little white teenager walked in and she jumped right into Sephora mode. So she knows what to do. She just didnāt feel I needed help. Which I absolutely did. I wanted a new foundation, lip colors, mascara, and a new fragrance . Preferably Valentino. As an online shopper I get very excited to actually visit the stores when I can. Plus I still consider myself part of the Sephora family even though itās been 20 years since I worked therešMoving forward I basically found all my items on my own but accidentally got a wrong color in the Danessa foundation that I need to exchange. No one asked me to color match. Now for the main part! Whoever was at the fragrance sector . Black, male, long hair, HIS ATTITUDE and energy was disgusting. I basically had to force him to talk to me about Valentino. He never even faced towards me or came close. I had to talk to him from a far.Over the music. My brother said āmaybe he doesnāt work hereā. I already made my initial purchase of $125, but remembered I wanted a fragrance. He was soooooo rude. He almost seemed mad at me for some reason. I was asking questions about the extra 4x points and it was really like pulling teeth. His back at one point was completely turned on me. I came in very carefree , happy and excited. He seemed bothered by that. My brother whispered āletās go Iāll buy it for you somewhere else ā Iāve never in my experience at any Sephora that I have visited WORLDWIDE š seen someone with an attitude like that at Sephora. Whatever personal issues he has he needs to keep at home. Get him off the floor along with that white girl. Nothing about them gives SEPHORA??$$ The best best part was when I checked out. Behind the counter was the sweetest lighter skin black girl with curly hair and an amazing smile and demeanor. She confirmed my purchases with me that I made the right decisions for what I was looking for AND gave me hair recommendations. Beautiful soul, professional and really embodied the Sephora culture. So happy she was there. Itās Buckhead. The Buckhead Sephora on Peachtree you never know WHO is walking in there or who you are talking to . Or in this case...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been to my share of Sephoras, and have made plenty of purchases from them. This is possibly the worst Sephora you can go to with some of the worst customer service you can endure. I don't know who is training these ladies, but they should really learn some customer etiquette. My first visit here was to try out some skincare products and just browse around and read descriptions. I understand that the ladies are there to help, however coming up to a customer and telling them that they don't know what they're doing isn't really enticing to your customers in any way. I was immediately turned off to browsing around any longer. I've just given them another opportunity to show me that only one of the ladies is ignorant enough to tell their customers that they don't know what they're doing, however apparently their strategy is to criticize their customers in front of their faces in order to sell you something. I can guarantee you that no one who is criticized will want to purchase anything from you. I was testing out a lip liner to go underneath my OWN lipstick to see if the colors compliment eachother. I did not ask for help. I did not ask for anyone's opinions, yet one of the ladies who worked there who's name is VONDHUS took it upon herself to watch me apply my lipstick, and not only did she stand there for a while in my own personal space, but she also decided to say, "that's a whole lot of lip, and they look so incredibly dry." That is understanding if she was going to offer me a remedy for my dry lips (which are dry because Atlanta just endured 20-30 degree weather, and usually when someone has dry lips they can see that for themselves, so there's really no need to point out the obvious), however she just gave me a rude opinion for nothing. I don't know how anyone thinks that's good customer service, but I guarantee you that it's not. I don't care how well you apply makeup, that's not how you talk to your clients. This is coming from a former makeup artist who actually knew how to speak to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have gone to this location a total of 3 times. I would have stopped after the first time but I needed to see if they were horrible all 3. The first visit i had done was to return an item that was purchased with a debit card. I didn't know that I needed the card for the return to be processed and the cashier literally threw the items at me and told me to "have a nice day" completely disregarding the fact she threw the items at me. Second time was on my birthday so I could treat myself to something after work and when I get there everyone ignores me and never once acknowledged my presence. I know that during that time it's like black Friday but because no one ever greeted me I didn't even know of the possible deals that were going on and I would have been keen to spend even more of what was in my budget if I had knowledge of what was going on. Along with that it wasn't even that full, everyone was just talking to each other or helping only one particular person. Third time was me going to pick up some lipsticks for me and my mom and when I was at the register they made a face at me because I was in comfy clothes since earlier that day I had been at work and she rudely asked what I was there for and was about to charge me without asking if I was part of the rewards program. When I paid she handed me my stuff and said next. They're extremely rude here and pay no attention to you. Everyone has an attitude problem to some extent. Only reason I had gone those 3 times was because it was near my job and was more convenient in my mind but I then started to make the trip to go to a different one. Don't go here unless you went to deal with people with...
