I would give a 5-star for the design and quality of the furniture and a 4-star for most of the white glove delivery service, but I think 3 is the most that I can provide based on my recent experience.
We moved into our new home recently and put in a large order with Kasala for our new furniture. It required a few deliveries due to back-ordered items, and one of the delivery guys who has been here twice wasn’t polite for today’s delivery. He was unhappy and impatient for some reason, even when we were offering for help (there were quite a few large pieces of furniture and we thought we could help because they are heavy), but also had that annoyed face the entire time and even pretty much threw the floor lamp plug to the floor with that face and left my husband to connect it to the rest part of it at the end of the delivery.
When he was wrapping up all order details with my husband, he didn’t let my husband finish but walked away while my husband was saying thank you.
Everyone has a tough day sometimes, but I would recommend some more employee training so they handle things more...
Read moreI would give no stars if I could. Today, I went to the Bellevue store to look at a piece of furniture that was not available at the Tukwila Outlet store prior to purchasing. Zero customer service! It was like I was INVISIBLE! There was one sales associate at the front desk who appeared to be doing something on the computer who clearly saw me come in but did not acknowledge me. I proceeded to look for the piece of furniture on my own, found it, sat on it when another customer came into the store to pick up a lamp. The sales associate called for another associate to help that customer as he was tied up. Needless to say that associate did not greet me either. I ended up leaving and having second thoughts about purchasing anything from Kasala.
BTW: I am a long time customer 10+ years at the Tukwila store and African American. The other customer who did receive customer service...
Read moreWe purchased a bit of an extravagant dream chair from Kasala. It was definitely an unusual splurge for us, and we waited in Alaska excitedly for it's arrival. Unfortunately, there was a bit of damage in shipping to the legs (not Kasala's fault). I can't emphasize enough how helpful the staff at Kasala were to get this resolved as quickly as possible. They were responsive, friendly, and clearly focused on ensuring we got to enjoy our splurge. Kudos to Kristen who stepped in and gave this her full attention way outside office hours when she received our initial email. Within a week we had this all resolved. That's customer service that goes way over and beyond. We've previously received other furniture from Kasala that we love - so this was an unusual situation, but reinforced why we'd want to keep...
