Vacationing in Dallas with my family. We had lunch at the farmers market on memorial day and browsed the shops before leaving. Came across Texas Goods Company and found a hat that I really liked even though it was a bit pricey. Had questions about a few other things and was prepared to purchase. I took the items to an empty counter and waited for a few minutes. I looked around the store for someone and saw two other people who appeared to be customers as well. One of them was an older woman on the phone who absolutely saw me and the confused look on my face. I went back to the counter and waited several more minutes before she walked behind the counter, moved a few things around and continued her phone conversation while I was standing in front of the register with items in my hand!!! As she continues to completely ignore me I decide to put the items back and exit the store. She stayed on the phone with no reaction to someone putting stuff back and leaving. Was I supposed to put on a smock and ring myself up?? Hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, and I'm pretty old!!
