I went here awhile ago and just remembered how rude the owner was to my friends at the time and I were. My friends and I are alt people and of course we dress a bit differently but as soon as we walked in we were stared at and I automatically felt uncomfortable. We then were looking for our names in a keychain board and he came up to us and started yelling at us that we were stealing. He started yelling gibberish and said how us “teenagers” steal by standing and touching his stuff. Then said no touching. We continued to look around and DIDNT touch anything at all and then kicked us out because we were “touching and trying to steal his items.” I understand that he might’ve experienced a lot of stealing because of 16th street but not everyone is going to steal. Keep in mind that I am a POC and I felt very uncomfortable with this man and that he judged how we looked and dressed and that we are young people so his brain automatically thought we...

Kept on having to ask him the price of something, couldn’t understand one word he was saying. Waited and waited . He wouldn’t help me out cause he was too busy scoping out someone because he thought this guy was stealing .in my opinion the guy didn’t look like he was stealing . He finally showed me the price and I asked if he could come down on it and he screamed at me and told me to leave his store . At first I couldn’t tell if he was kidding or not . So I screamed back . Then he kicked out the other guy who wasn’t stealing anything. So I kept yelling back at him because I don’t appreciate some old man screaming at me . I don’t understand why people think they can just act the way they do to strangers in public ? You have no idea what anybody is capable of , especially in this country. This is a shop with a good collection of ornaments, but sadly I couldn’t buy anything from there. The person there in the store (maybe the owner) kept standing close to me with a disgusting look on his face when I was checking out their collection, which made me really uncomfortable and I decided to leave. When I told the cashier that this is uncomfortable and I am leaving, the guy who was staring at me suddenly started yelling at me “get out of this store and never come back”, and he kept yelling. I told him that I am leaving anyway and there is no need to yell, but he kept yelling without any provocation. I am not sure if he is sick and needs help, but the cashier did not step up to say anything and just kept watching without any expression on his face.
