Planet Fitness — Local services in Denver

I am a homeless transgender woman. they say in there main quotes that this is a non-judgmental place. I also go to the Planet Fitness on Lawrence and Colfax over and morons Plaza I paid my monthly bill because it's the only place that I can take a shower. I go to the place on Lawrence and charge my stuff I know you never complain or they do not put box on there wall Chargers. I'm homeless I do not have the luxury of charging my phone every night before I go to bed I have to charge it before I go to bed I live in a tent, with my husband. I went to the Planet Fitness on 16th mall in downtown Denver in Colorado. The moment I tried to plug in one of my things to charge my portable chager, one of the employees that work there automatically said to me within a second that you cannot plug in your stuff in those Outlets the only Outlets you may use are the ones that are on the machines as long as they're using the machines as what she said her name is Sydney. She works at Planet Fitness on 16th Street Mall she said that was their policy I was never told this on the Planet Fitness that I go to on Lawrence Plaza which is where I'm heading white now I just came from there and I ride the bus I do not have the luxury of a car. thank god I have a monthly buds pass I believe that the Planet Fitness on 16th Street is targeting those who are homeless, otherwise known as gentrification, that rule I believe is obscene, especially if I pay every month Nothing is for free I know is. I would like my money's worth I only get SSI I don't get the luxury of more money I mentally disabled. I live paycheck to paycheck literally this was the worst experience I have ever experienced in Planet Fitness and I would like everyone to know everyone has a voice in Only God can judge us and that are boys that she'll be heard. I hope that this review helps if your homeless do not go there to charge your Stuff they will get on your back the moment...

So I been a skateboarder for 20 years. I’ve now been an entrepreneur for the last 10 years. As someone who knows hard work and dedication and integrity I was very disappointed on this location and it’s manager Miss Kerri. I went to take a shower one day and minutes after I was being falsely accused of stealing a watch from a locker which mind you I have no idea of. I apologized and continued to tell the male workers at the time I had nothing to do with anything. Two weeks go by and one day the same male workers I believe his name was donte miss Kerri had sent him over to tell me his exact words were “ she doesn’t want you here”. Confused at this point I try to approach kerri stating hey like that’s wrong. I didn’t do anything and she didn’t let me speak and automatically called security and I ended up leaving because I’m helpless at this point. I ask please planet Fitness at least talk to the women, she violated planet fitness own policy which is not responsible for lost items in locker rooms, she didn’t let me speak and why was I kicked out 2 weeks after being falsely accused. I was left feeling defeated and confused coming from a life of abuse all I wanted to do was workout and go about my day and they Manager and front desk workers really singled me out. I felt discriminated against. Again against your policy. So I ended up leaving the gym and going to a different location and everything has been great. I’ve been to FL CA NJ locations and some like lake wood and lakeside amazing time and never had an issue until I went to 16th mall street. Makes me question planet fitness business morals and integrity. As a business owner that is not acceptable under any circumstances I would of fired Kerri a thousand years ago. I find the rating of over 4 stars to be fishy. This place was at 2.9 last time I checked and it wasn't long ago. After every 1 star review, there are 5 great reviews basically saying the exact opposite, word for word. Additionally, they are always dead and empty. How can so many great reviews come in when no one comes here? Same reason it's clean 🤣. The staff here will never get better as long as the manager is the same judgemental manager(the woman with bright red or pink hair who likes to gossip about, side eye, falsely accuse and intimidate members). It seems that when a new, nice and friendly staff member is hired, they are gone quickly. To me, that shows that it sucks to work there as bad as it does to come in as a member. I've been a PF member over 5 years and even tho I live 5 minutes from this location, I do everything I can to avoid it. I'll literally take the bus to Aurora or Lakewood. That says a lot. I had such a bad experience while bringing a guest here several years ago that I had to file a corporate complaint. Racist, unprofessional and predatory are understatements. Even the employee working at the time found the managers orders so uncalled for, he refused, corroborated my claim to corporate and I never saw him again. If I am forced to come to this location because of time constraints, I feel like I am being whispered and gossiped about. I would like to add that the people at the corporate office and the employees that every other location that I've been to in both Colorado and California have been awesome!
