Came in for my second covid-19 vaccine shot on 4/30. I was told I was a day early, even though their system chose the appointment date. CR member at pharmacy told me I could not make an appointment in person that I would need to make an appointment online. I then made an appointment for 5/1 the next day. I come in on 5/1 stood in line for 10min waiting to be helped. The person behind the counter makes an appointment for a covid-19 vaccine for that afternoon in front of me! Then I was being helped by the lady giving vaccines and she stopped short of giving me the paperwork to fill out (the exact questions I answered by voice and were entered in the computer). The entire staff leaves me standing at the counter while helping other people for another 10min until I loudly ask myself out loud why I was standing there before one of them reached and grabbed my paperwork off of the printer and gave to me. Only to sit in their waiting area for another unknown amount of time but it has been 8min and I am STILL sitting here. There are only two people ahead of me and they have already been helped. This is the precise reason why I didn't visit walgreens in Texas and why I won't be back here in Colorado. Too many customers, a lagging and difficult system, not enough employees in the pharmacy and the ones they have are too busy to really care about...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of encountering Tara, the pharmacist at Walgreens on the 16th Street Mall strip, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with her exceptional service. Tara went above and beyond to take care of a missing prescription for my daughter, and her actions truly stood out. From the moment I approached her with my concerns, Tara's attentiveness was evident. She listened carefully to my situation, showing genuine concern for my daughter's well-being. Her empathy and understanding made me feel reassured that we were in capable hands. What amazed me the most was Tara's quick actions. She wasted no time in investigating the issue and finding a solution. Tara's efficiency and dedication were truly remarkable. Her exceptional service sets a high standard for others in the healthcare industry. It's evident that she genuinely cares about the well-being of her patients and is willing to go above and beyond to provide the best possible care. I highly recommend Tara to anyone in need of a knowledgeable and compassionate pharmacist. Her attentive nature, genuine concern, and swift actions make her an asset to the 16th Street Mall community. Thank you, Tara, for your outstanding service and for going above and beyond to take care of my daughter's...
Read moreI live in an apartment less than a block from this place. I use reusable bags for environmental purposes and go to this Walgreens at least once a week. The male security has seen me with my EMPTY reusable bags and has NEVER told me I could not use them. Today there was a female security who followed me in the store, stared at me and insinuated I was putting items in my EMPTY shopping bag. I showed her it was empty and she told me of some policy I never encountered where you leave your reusable bag on a Pringle's end cap. Meanwhile while I was being racially harassed there were two white people walking around with shopping bags and one was unhoused with two bags. She did not tell them the policy but she told me. I'm going to patron the CVS across the street from now on. If Walgreens pays racist security, they don't need money from People of Color. This looks bad on this entire company and now I really don't want to go to any Walgreens in the future. BTW, I always leave an average of $40 in that store. ...
