Market Station — Local services in Denver

I lived here from December 2022 to December 2023 and I would not recommend living in Market Station. When I first toured the apartment Bri made comments about how I probably couldn’t afford to live here and referred me to other buildings in the area that might be more in my price range. Granted, I gave her the benefit of the doubt because I think that she didn’t understand what I was saying because in the original correspondence, I was promised a certain rate if I moved in, but then that was told to me that it was no longer available, which is why I was asking questions about the current price of a studios available. This interaction was very off-putting, but being new to the area I felt like this seemed like the safest place to live at the time because of their system with keys and living on the fifth floor. After moving in my interactions with everyone in the leasing office were pleasant until the summer came when not only did our hot water turn off twice with the only option for hot water to go to the gym down the street and we were given no reduction in rent for this issue. The worst problem about living at Market Station during my time was an issue with a filter on the roof that made it so clean air wasn’t pumping through the apartment Because of this, my apartment smelled like dead fish for about two months because we lived under a steak and fish restaurant. The smells from their cooking wafted up into the apartment consistently because this filter was not working. I brought this to the attention of the leasing office. They told me that they were working on it, but we were never provided updates, and when I went to ask about it again, I mentioned how I work in person most days and my clothes were starting to smell of the fish I was told back that she also had to work in person which was very invalidating and did not help the situation at all. Once they fix this after the summer ended, or the smell just wasn’t as bad because there wasn’t any heat involved It was easy to move out and they made that a seamless process. I just feel because of my experiences with the leasing office, as well as the issues that the apartment had it would not be apartment nor company that I would want to rent from again. I did feel safe the entire time I lived here, and the concierge team is absolutely fantastic, they took the time and effort to know every single resident in the building and make a connection with them. There is literally always an issue going on here. Whether it's not having hot water for a week, or fire alarms going off in the middle of the night, or elevators being down (or reeking of piss because homeless people get in), or losing packages because they make you use and pay for this Luxor service... there's always something. Not to mention if you get a balcony unit, you're literally paying extra to be directly over where all the trash is. Don't think you'll get fresh air on your balcony in the morning. The walls are thin and you can hear when someone all the way down the hall is having a party. And of course they're raising rents too. I had to leave a review because I’m really surprised by some of the negative comments. My partner and I had an amazing time living at Market Station. We only moved out after two years because of a job relocation, but we would’ve stayed much longer if we could. Every single staff member from the leasing team to maintenance knew us by name and was always super helpful.
