DICK'S Sporting Goods — Local services in Jackson Township

Definitely want to give a HUGE shout out and thank you to Cole and Val at the Dick’s Sporting Good at the Grove City location on Stringtown! Been trying to find my son a particular type of football gloves that he needs for the season and checked at this location to see if they had them. Online it showed that they had 7 pairs of the exact gloves and size that we’ve been looking for. I get there when they open this morning and go over and I see no adult size gloves. So I grab a pair of the youth gloves and start looking for a rep and the first one I see is Val! Super nice and jovial when talking to me. She walks over and checks for the gloves and explains that sometimes the system doesn’t catch up to what they truly have in stock… so then she gets on her headset and asks Cole and low manhood he pops up 2.8 seconds later before she’s able to Cornish talking to him on the headset. They both basically checked ever football glove that was on the floor and still could t find them… in my mind Cole went to the back and was climbing mountains and going through valleys to see if they have the gloves. About 5 to 10mins later I see Cole walking towards me with THE GLOVES in his hand!!! (Hence the climbing mountains and valleys! lol) Again thank you for such great customer services and truly going above and beyond to help me find the gloves!

I realize it's soon after the holidays and with covid delays inventory can be slim however, this store did not have 1 single pair of womens snow/ski pants. Unfortunately I am not a one-size-fits-all woman and must try clothes on- especially an expensive purchase for an item I haven't worn in 30 years. Also, when I entered the store, maybe 6, 7 employees were gathered near the front- maybe having a staff meeting or something but not 1 said hello, welcomed me, or greeted me in any way. In fact, I walked around the store for over 30 minutes before I was acknowledged including by employees who walked past me. Finally a young lady asked if I was finding everything okay. When I mentioned snow pants she directed me over to the mens racks. (Thanks, but a mens 3X, 4X is not right for a woman who wears a S/M). When it was time for me to find a fitting room there wasn't an employee in sight for maybe 10 minutes. Definitely not the best customer service...

try to go to this location again unfortunately because I was in the area I feel like every time I come in there it’s something new things really need to be written because word-of-mouth made up rules just don’t fly. I had 10 items to try on told me, I could only take three there’s nowhere to put my items so someone could have put them back and I am with child so it would have been too much work to try on items and potentially get locked out of the fitting room ring the doorbell again also, all their items have sensors on them I feel like they think every black person steals they don’t even try to accommodate they don’t have Customer skills at all.
