Spencer's — Local services in Jackson Township

Have been visiting this store for at least 30 plus years. Not necessarily this location in particular, but this is one of the original niche shops that I was introduced to. It's wild seeing how the trends have changed over the decades, but they somehow managed to keep their finger loosely on the not so mainstream pulse. They still carry some of the stuff they've been carrying forever, and I'm glad to see that they are still around. This location usually has a pretty good staff... usually. The store itself is fine and I like their jewelry selection, but one of the employees made my family not want to come back. They were very pushy with additional purchases (not asking if you want it, but just putting it with your items and saying "youre going to need this too") and with the breast cancer donations ("how much do you wanna donate" not "would you like to" or anything to that effect and when we said not today, their attitude completely changed and they barely said a word to us the rest of the interaction). went there yesterday with my mom, and found a gloomy bear shirt that looked really nice! while they were ringing it up to us, they recommended this gloomy bear plush that i hadn't seen earlier, and i was IN LOVE!! very nice plush, i have it right now. unfortunately though, when we went back home from the mall (23 miles away) we noticed that they left the security tag on the shirt.. don't know how we're going to remove it. really bummed me out that they didn't do that, i...
