JH MOUNTAIN GLOW AND ITS EMPLOYEES ARE PREDATORY.
Today, my elderly mother and I were walking past JH Mountain Glow when their employee, Luca, stopped us. Without asking for her consent — and without washing his hands or putting on gloves — he applied a cream under my mother’s right eye. She was taken aback by his closeness to her and made eye contact with me to signal she wanted to leave. Before I could step in, Luca led her inside and asked her to sit down. Naturally, I followed, and he immediately asked if I was her “bodyguard.”
Luca then launched into a sales pitch about the product, telling us that it “regularly [costs] over a thousand dollars” but was “$499 and only needs to be used once a week.” My mother laughed and tried to stand up, but he physically stood in front of her and insisted that he apply the cream to the other side of her face “to even her out.”
I told him he was a convincing salesperson, but that we weren’t interested, hoping he would let her get up. Instead, he brushed me off, saying, “I’m selling to her, not you.” I made it clear that we would not be purchasing anything, since I would be the one paying for it if we did. At that point, he became visibly angry. He started asking if I had bought my mom’s purse, my own purse, the jewelry I was wearing, and told me not to interfere with his sale.
I helped my mom up and told him his behavior was inappropriate and disrespectful. As we walked out, he called us “disrespectful.”
Approximately thirty minutes after this encounter, my mother developed an allergic reaction to the product that had been applied without her consent.
The conduct displayed by Luca and JH Mountain Glow was aggressive, intimidating, and predatory in nature. In particular, the targeting of elderly women, coupled with unsolicited physical contact and high-pressure sales tactics, raises serious ethical and legal concerns.
I have filed formal complaints with the Department of Health, the Better Business Bureau, and the local Chamber...
Read moreI was hesitant to invest in a lifting device because I wasn’t sure if the results would be worth it, but after just a few weeks of consistent use, I’m convinced this is one of the best beauty purchases I’ve ever made. The machine is comfortable to hold, easy to maneuver around the curves of my face and neck, and the treatment itself feels surprisingly relaxing. It delivers a gentle, warm sensation that stimulates the skin and muscles, and over time I’ve noticed a real difference my jawline is more defined, my cheekbones look slightly lifted, and the skin around my neck feels firmer. It’s also helped with overall skin tone and texture, giving me a more youthful, refreshed appearance without any invasive procedures. I now use it three times a week as part of my self-care routine, and I actually look forward to that time because it feels indulgent yet so effective. Pairing it with my favorite serum has amplified the results, and several friends have commented on how healthy and vibrant...
Read moreI’ve been through a long journey of trying different exfoliating products scrubs, masks, chemical peels but nothing has given me the results I’ve seen with this peeling gel. The texture is silky and cooling when applied, and it starts working almost instantly without any stinging or harsh feeling. As I gently massage it in, I can feel the buildup lifting away, and when I rinse, my skin is unbelievably smooth. The best part is that it doesn’t strip away moisture or leave my face feeling tight, which is something I’ve struggled with in the dry Wyoming climate. Over the past month, I’ve noticed my complexion looking brighter, makeup applying more evenly, and even some of my stubborn texture around my cheeks has started to disappear. This has truly become one of my “can’t live without” products, and it feels like giving myself a mini spa facial every...
