What an awful store. I bought 2 $38 dollar hats as gifts at 730 pm on August 14th. The lady rung me up and never once mentioned their return policy. I went to return them 20 minute later because I found the product I was originally looking for elsewhere. I approached the three employees huddled together and asked if I could please return the hats I had just bought. She informed me that they only give back store credit or exchanges. I asked since she never stated their return policy and I had just bought them 20 minutes ago if she could make an exception. She responded “it’s not our fault you didn’t read your receipt”. Even if I did read my receipt the transaction had already occurred? If you are a retail store in a mall in New Jersey and you don’t accept returns it is you obligation to inform your customers of your policy BEFORE they purchase anything.
