This was by far the most touching experience I have ever had purchasing pretty much anything ever. I sent out a quote request through Yelp to more than 20 jewelers, on the day before my daughter’s Sweet 16 Birthday, hoping and praying that someone would be able to help me. I needed to get her a 14 karat gold locket with a chain, engraved, within 24 hours. I thought for sure this would not be possible. Within 5 minutes, Shay (the owner) of Diamond Collection & Company called me and put my heart at ease. He assured me that it could be done and that he was willing to help me. I described exactly what I wanted and he was able to create it, surpassing my hopes entirely. Not only did he create a gorgeous and perfect locket for my daughter, but he also made a beautiful little picture frame and clear cover to go over the picture inside! The engraving was beautiful and it had a unique, custom look and feel, so much more delicate and personal than the lockets I found at a few of the other retail jewelers in the malls. And the price was half the amount they were charging. I was shocked at first and felt a little bit unsure that this could be a legit situation. But I felt reassured by Shay’s sweetness and seeming trustworthiness. He sent me pictures at every step of the way, as he stayed up very late working on my piece to have it ready for me the next day. When I came to pick it up the next day, before my daughter’s dinner celebration, he brought it down to me and brought with him a delicious pineapple and coconut juice that was just what I needed, after a long and stressful day. And when he handed me the locket, in a beautiful blue leather box complete with a gift bag, I couldn’t believe it. I was so grateful. And most of all, I appreciated his huge heartedness and honesty. From the minute I walked into this classy establishment I knew this store wasn't like the many stuffy, unorganized cheap wholesale stores in DT LA. I was impressed to see the pricing equally matching that of the other local wholesalers but with this time a welcoming smile and offer for assistance right away.

The owner Shay is very knowledgeable and was willing to spend as much time as needed to educate me on the different products I was interested in. He designs and makes custom jewelry so you're likely to find something for everyone if you're on the hunt for something special. I like the range of items from the simple solitaire to the custom made swirls of diamonds in a range of colors in rings , pendants, bracelets and earrings.
