Had an 1100 appointment for my friend and I. My friend arrived on time at 1100, I was running 20 min late. He alerted the nail salon that I would be late at 1055. They asked him if we could reschedule for noon instead. We agreed. When we returned at noon, everyone but one tech was booked with a client. She called us both over and got us set up for our pedicures. She immediately started my nails and my friend patiently waited. He waited so long, the water in the bowl got cold. He asked for it to be rewarmed. He again patiently waited. The tech finished both my gel mani and pedicure before anyone even STARTED to do my friend's nails. Once I was done, then someone walked over to START his nails. It was now 1pm. Now remember, he was there at 1100. If there was an issue with staffing, they should have started his nails at 1100 and I would've gladly rescheduled for 12 since I was late. They only said "sorry". Never offered to reschedule him, did not offer him a discount, NOTHING. Just "sorry". I noticed a multitude of customers waiting around with their nails being "soaked" instead of being attended to. My nail tech cut my finger pretty badly, (even though she was very sweet and apologized profusely). It was bleeding during the entire session and she kept spraying liquids on it causing it to painful and burn even more. We will be taking our services elsewhere. Also, they only accept venmo or Zelle as payment and they ask you not to put "for nails and tip" in the notes which leads me to believe they are trying to evade taxes/fees. I do not recommend coming here, we will definitely not...
Read moreThe nails always look great, but the service is trash. Iâve been a few times and have been told different amounts for the nails each time. They changed shape and âcut downâ the nails the first time and did the fill and said it was $60 ($50- fill, $6 for the shape change, $4- for the âcut downâ - they literally charge you to cut your nails). I went back, the guy barely took the file to trim the nail, and after he said it would be $65. I asked him why, and he said for the fill and âcut down.â How is it more this time? I asked, and he said âwell next time ask how much they are before we start.â That doesnât explain how/why theyâre more, three weeks later. When I said this he said âwell, we do good nails.â That doesnât excuse not being consistent in your pricing.
One of the lovely ladies did my nails the second time, and she let another guy paint them. He clearly had no idea what he was doing, and she had to come back and take over. There wasnât enough polish in the bottle and they looked awful. Luckily she corrected and they came out better.
I also had to wait for them to open. Their door says 9am, online says 10am, and I got there at 10:10 and the door was still locked. I called the number listed and he said âwe open at 10, and weâre open now,â but I was sitting in the parking lot and you were not. I sat there until 10:25 until I left and came back close to 11 when they were open.
Love that theyâre so close to my house but itâs not worth it. Iâll give my coins elsewhere. Will not...
Read moresecond update I attached a photo of my mutilated nail a week later, still painful đ Do not let them use a nail drill to remove your gel!!! They will drill your nail bed raw!!!
update Changing my rating to one star, I left with my nails looking fine on my gel manicure, woke up this morning with a big chip On my nails after not even 24 hours of having the manicure done. I will never come back here. Iâm afraid to have it removed and redone as they already filed my nail bed so raw.
Nails look good, but wayyyy too aggressive with the gel removal. You could see where my nails were red from being raw from the nail drill going too hard and deep on my nail bed. Very aggressive with the filing on my skin, nail files are for nails not skin. I get it if you make contact with the skin a little bit here and there, but it was straight up aggressive. I winced and pulled back at least three times. They apologized, but after three times? Come on. Painful experience. Didnât apply lotion on the basic manicure. All basic manicures get lotion. Not to be dramatic, but I left feeling upset and violated. I normally donât like Karening and leaving bad reviews, but they should know that they are being very aggressive and potentially hurting customers and harming their nail beds. I get my nails done every couple weeks and have my whole adult life. Iâve lived in LA for over a decade. This is the most aggressive mani/pedi...
