I recently got a ring from my in-laws. My father in law went to Chiang Mai, Thailand, 20 years ago on a business trip and bought this ring for my mother in law..and they both wanted to give it to me! It means a lot to me, and so when I had to decide on who to entrust my ring with, to have resized, I went straight to Yelp and found Sam. And I do not regret it at all. I emailed him, he emailed me back on the same day, we set up an appointment by the evening. Good vibes from the beginning. When I first brought the ring in Sam was working with another customer, but the lovely lady who was there promptly greeted me and helped me decide on the ring size. We decided on a size and I thought that was it, but Sam excused himself from the woman he was helping and checked my finger with the new size I settled on. He asked if I was ok with it and even suggested I could go down one half size but Im not comfortable with snug rings as I never wear them so I stuck to my initial ring size. I really appreciate that he was honest about the ring size and didn’t just go along with what his customer wanted. In that moment, I knew I had chosen the right place. The ring was ready to be picked up a few hours later but I couldn’t pick it up so I asked if they could hold it till the following weekend and they said yes and that it wouldn’t be a problem. One week later and I have my ring, perfectly sized, and polished! They cleaned it! Bonus! Again, the service when picking up was so lovely. Sam was busy helping a gentleman with his watch but he still took the time to say hi and ask me how my day was going. The lovely lady (I’m so sorry I don’t know her name) gave me my ring and it is perfect! 10/10 I recommend....

We were planning to get married kind of suddenly. And I've always said, if I ever get married, I want a horseshoe ring. Like in the movie True Romance. My husband found Sam's Jewelry by searching for places with good review and where they make custom jewelry. We were getting married in 2 weeks so I wasn't expecting the ring yo be ready in time. We were treated so kindly, and they were so patient when I couldn't decide on which kind of gold or exact design I wanted. I couldn't find good pictures of that ring from the movie. So they helped me see certain details I hadn't noticed before. And I was surprised when they said the ring would be ready before we got married. After we left, I kept trying to find better pictures. I'm so indecisive. I finally came across a Japanese store where they had made a few replica rings a few years back from that movie. I noticed the ring had 2 different golds and a few details I missed, from my original picture I had. I believe it was 2 days later when I asked my husband to go back to see if we could make a few changes if possible. They said it was not a problem. I just want to say thank you. All of our experiences with Sam’s have been incredibly positive. I first went to resize my engagement ring - a very old, precious family heirloom - it needed to be made about 3 full sizes smaller, and have it appraised. Sam and the staff were very attentive, helping me choose the right size and Sam did a beautiful job! Even with the difficulty of resetting the side stones since it was such a large decrease in size. We came back to resize my husband’s ring - another family heirloom with a very intricate design - and add more platinum prongs onto mine to ensure the very old center stone was secure. Again, he did an incredible job! He somehow managed to keep the continuity of the design on my husband’s ring, and mine looks beautiful and I feel more at ease that it’s secure now. Their prices are fair and consistent with the up front estimate they give before the work. Other places I went to tried to charge me thousands of dollars and get me to fully reset my ring. Sam accomplished exactly what I was wanting, while still giving courteous input. This is definitely going to continue to be where we bring our jewelry or watches...
