Skin Story Med Spa have this June Promotion right now and I went to try their "Glass Skin Package" ! This included Hydro Facial, Skin Booster, and Water Drop Lifting. For a single package (with promotion going on right now), it only costed $500 and for 3 sessions, it costed $1200 (which would end up being $400 each session). When I arrived, Soyeon greeted me with her clean and neat facility and it was ready to start! First I washed my face to remove any makeup and then she numbed me with numbing cream (she used extra strong numbing cream to help reduce pain when she uses microneedles "hycoox" to inject skin booster). After waiting for 30 min, she started off by doing Hydro Facial to remove any dirt, dead skin, and clean out my pore so this can help to get a better result with microneedling. She then had a consultation with me to see which one I would need based on my skin condition (from PRP, Juvelook, and Rejuran). After evaluation of my skin, I needed improvements in hydration, fine wrinkles, and developing collagen to improve skin elasticity. So she suggested Juvelook injection, and she took extra care to inject it on my skin evenly throughout. It had slight pain on certain areas but for someone that is scared of needles, this was nothing. After she finished injecting the skin booster, she calmed my flared up skin (due to injection) with LDM water drop lifting ultrasound. This already helped cool down my skin but even more to this, she took an extra step and put rubber mask modeling pack to reduce heat! It is now Day 1 after my procedure and I did not see any swelling any more. I saw some red needle spots here and there (this is normal) but I was able to cover it up with my sunscreen/ bb cream! The result will show after 7-10 days so I cannot wait to see my skin glowing! I received a Potenza treatment with Juvelook in Korea in October 2024. I knew I was visiting LA in December 2024 (and also make frequent visits throughout the year, as I have family in the area and also attend events, etc) and wanted to continue Potenza treatments somewhere in the US. Thankfully, Soyeon's clinic came up in my google searching for treatment in LA area.

I ended up doing a package of 3 treatments of Potenza. Initially the package I purchased included exosomes or PFP. However, Soyeon graciously offered to continue Juvelook that I had started last fall. Soyeon is kind, knowledgeable, and explains things thoroughly. I just finished my 3rd treatment this last week when I was in town and I'm incredibly happy with the results of my treatments. I could tell even after the 2nd treatment with Soyeon (3rd Potenza treatment overall) in March 2025, that my skin felt so much smoother in texture to the touch and in appearance.

Her specials/packages are a complete steal, especially if you do not want to pay for international airfare and/or do not spend a dedicated amount of time in Seoul to complete the treatments. I'm a newbie when it comes to skincare treatments. I ended up getting Oligio ONE WEEK before my wedding. I wanted the makeup to look good on the wedding day! After halfway done, I could tell the difference between my one cheek to the other because it was way slimmer!! I'm attaching my before (LEFT) and after (RIGHT) photo and you can still see the difference. I got excited so I am smiling in the AFTER photo but even so, you can see that my skin is much tighter. The session was not painful at all and Soyeon was very careful and checked in with me numerous times to make sure that I was comfortable. Another thing I liked was that Soyeon didn't really push for products and other treatments but just listened to my needs and recommended the best option for me especially before the important date. I had a trial wedding make up session a few days before I had Oligio and my makeup lasted so much longer on the wedding day. Even my makeup artist asked if I slept well because my skin looks great.
