Arrived on Saturday at Madeira Norte staying in unit 208. We chose this unit because of the location of the parking spot near the beach and pool access and the location being close to the elevator. I am not disabled but do have trouble walking long distances and didn't want to have to carry my stuff a long distance so I chose a unit with a better than average parking spot. Upon arrival we found a car sitting in our spot and gave the office and call, the lady on the phone said that would get it moved and would call me back. After we parked and moved our stuff into our room I called back giving them the car info and the unit number that was listed on that car's parking permit on the dash. The girl once again stated she would take care of it and I asked about parking in a different location and she said "No absolutely don't park in any other spot or you will be towed" She said to park out next to the street until they could get the car moved. So I parked and walked, no call was ever returned to me and I didn't hear back from them. On Sunday morning the car was still here and I called once again and was once again told to park on the street and it would be taken care of. No call ever returned to me on Sunday during normal business hours. After I filed a complaint with the BBB and a negative comment on their facebook page I was contacted by someone in the office and told that they couldn't do anything about the parking space although they had threaten to tow mine and that they couldn't contact that person since they rented from another company. The lady that called me was very short and hateful and clearly upset that she was having to deal with this since she was "on call" as she stated. On Monday we left a note on the car parked in our spot and spoke with a maintenance person at the condo building and the car was moved that morning. I know it's only a parking spot but we paid for it and expected to use it. Our condo floor was very sandy and I know that is part of the beach but it should be clean before checking in at least, condo had a pull out couch but the sheet on it was very dirty and had not be cleaned. We had to wash the bed sheet before the bed could be used. Just disappointed with the customer service and service considering the price...
   Read moreWe will never stay at a hotel again! From check in we were pleasantly surprised how well the grounds were kept, even cleaning the provided charcoal grills daily. The pool, albeit small, was sparkling & provided plenty of seating. We stayed at Madeira Norte #414, the interior was nicer than even the pics, & the view from the deck & patio seating, gave me a prefect retreat from the beach when needed. The new mattress gave me better support than even my home mattress. Bathrooms wtw clean & had everything we needed including bright white towels. Kitchen was clean, had pitchers, a kuerig & drip coffee pots, cookware, silverware, slow cooker & utensils, saving us tons of $$ on meals, even gave adult sons & girlfriends opportunity to cook meals for Mom & Dad, (some of the best parts of my stay)! If i had to find a neg, the frig could be replaced soon with one including an ICE Maker. Ty MN!! well see...
   Read moreI had scheduled to stay June 12-17. Since the Covid-19 crisis Allegiant has already canceled my flight. I had booked on March 9th and gotten ahold of this company on March 27th when I was first seeing this issue may become a problem. They let me know they would cancel with an $85 fee. I called again around April 15th and they said they were watching the status and as of now to wait until closer to time. It is now a month before my trip and I have no other option but to cancel. I talked to the company and they said to talk to the manager. I emailed them and there was no change. I think this is terrible customer service when I would like to go on this trip and the crazy times are keeping me from it. I would have went ahead and booked with this company in the future but will no longer go with that decision with this terrible...
