I normally don't leave bad reviews, and while I think the woman who helped me may have tried to do a good job, she had difficulty waxing my face, saying the hair was too short and really, it wasn't. She even gave up and only waxed part of my face, after I asked her to do what she could. Instead of using oil, she rubbed alcohol very hard into my skin that she tried to wax unsuccessfully, against the short hair, and then said maybe I was too sensitive. She also got wax in between my lips and in my hair. When I cancelled the rest of my appt for a pedicure, she grabbed my hand in an effort to make me feel better. l've never been grabbed by anyone in a spa setting before, and I thought it was strange and inappropriate. Imagine a doctor or a waitress grabbing your hand while its resting on your leg. It definitely made me feel very uncomfortable. She was kind enough to not charge me for the service, but I think the spa could use a better waxer or better training. Maybe telling someone their hair is too short is better than putting wax on for no reason, ripping the skin off, rubbing alcohol into it, and then also getting wax in between my lips and in my hair. Worst and longest mani pedi I've had for the price . The woman seemed very inexperienced, took a long time but didn't really clean my nails, I literally took the nail tool to finish the work, I had to ask her to scrub 3 tikes, she seemed like she didn't want to touch my feet. Everything was very light, like a little pat down. They don't use water for the mani (is that a thing now? My old place which was closed always used water). Once she was done she didn't offer me the drying spray that everyone else got. I had to ask the manager for it, then I told the manager I would like plastic as I had closed shoes, she said my toes were dry. I've had instances were my shoe damage the color. I ended up putting the plastic on my feet. There are many other places in the neighborhood to try, don't waste your time...

I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I am not exaggerating when I say I think this manicure is the worst of my life. I wish I would have stayed home and done it myself because the quality is so bad. They put two extremely thin coats of very old looking gel polish on which left streaks and lumps. It’s see-through even though it was opaque polish. The lengths and shapes of the nails are uneven as well. I called them and they refused to refund me, they only offered to fix it which would require a total removal and another gel manicure that’s likely to be poor quality. I’m going to have to go to another salon to get it completely re-done. Terrible quality and terrible...
