On our second day in Park City we ( my wife and I ) decided to check out the Umbrella Bar since it was so sunny out. The cooks in the food truck said we had to order from the bar so we got a couple seats and Shannon (who was cute and super friendly!) recommended the Philly cheesesteak so we got two of those and a couple beers. I'm telling you this sandwich was a rare treat! The bread was fresh, the meat, peppers and sausage were seasoned and cooked perfectly. And that cheese sauce! I wish they had sold these in previous years! If our trip wasn't so short I'm sure we would have had these sandwiches three or four times in a week! The whole Umbrella Bar is a great place to relax from a day on the slopes. BUT, no matter what you should stop by for a Philly even if you're just passing through....
Read moreThis spot right near the base of the slopes at the Canyons is as good as it gets when it comes to apres-ski. The large patio with tons of tables warmed by propane heaters and a big fire pit is incredible when the sun is out, warming it up to the point where boots and coats aren’t needed. The drink selection is not massive and Utah’s weird laws mean nothing on tap is over 4%, but the local beer is fantastic after a tough day skiing. Read moreCame here twice. First time while eating lunch my friends and I saw two people slip and fall. The second time again at lunch I slipped and fell. The deck material is extremely slippery, the staff has apparently notified management but NOTHING is being done. They seem as frustrated as me.
The tables are metal with sharp corners and one day someone will get seriously hurt.
I'm going to speculate that management has never worn ski boots, and doesn't care about this issue until they get sued, which is bound to happen...
