Walked into the store to not even be greeted by the singular employee working. Took a good look around the store only to be what felt like being stalked by the employee as I looked. I noticed massive tv's which showed the views of several cameras throughout the store. I was confused as to why the man felt the need to follow me around when there was surveillance. I wanted to look around, not steal things. I also noticed that many things were massively overpriced in comparison to other Utah gift shops. Like more than double the price of other stores. I didn't even bother to buy anything because my money is best spent elsewhere, not at an overpriced store with an employee that made me uncomfortable.
Edit as response to owner: Rather bold of you to lie about prices. I did not see anything below 4.99, and a hoodie was $80!!! I saw a hoodie at another gift store down the street for $30. Your Hoodia is $10 more than your "genuine" meteorite. If the owner is willing to lie about the prices they have in the store on a review then I can't trust anything. Especially a "genuine meteorite." I do know how to read price tags. It is rather ridiculous that you would insult a...
Read moreA simple gift shop with unique items. I was looking for postcards and found what I was looking for. The girl at the counter was nice, however may want to reconsider her attitude. She asked me what I was in Utah for, and I mentioned I had just moved from North Carolina and I am looking for postcards to send to friends. She gives me a very strange look and says “that’s a bold move.” A little taken aback, I ask her why she’d say that. She responds “well it sucks here.” Everyone has their own opinion, and if you don’t like living in the place you’re currently in, that’s fine. But as an employee, you are representing a storefront that is selling SLC tourism and gifts! It felt insulting and unwelcoming. I wish her the best, but some thoughtful feedback on professionalism and representation...

ALL BUSINESSES ARE REQUIRED TO BE ADA FRIENDLY IN CASE YOU DIDN'T KNOW THAT.... BUT NOW YOU DO KNOW THIS.......... You guy's should really consider other customers that are disabled and that might want to shop in your store but can't get in because your not ADA...
