Chase Bank — Local services in San Francisco

Ahdieh Attar is the "vice president branch manager" and today at this Chase on California and Fillmore I experienced blatant disrespect and Racism from this women. She wouldnt give me my money out of my account. First claiming its because I'm from out of state. (Arizona) then claiming my state issued ID doesnt have an expiration date, which they don't. But I used this same ID to open my account. Then she stated I just opened the account. (Two weeks ago) So Chase has a policy of when and how much u can withdraw when you go into the branch? but Chase did not have a policy of how much I can put in or the amount of time that deposits can occur. There are no by-laws stating such policy from Chase. I was told i couldnt even close my account that moment. Unbelievable! I was made to wait over a hour for a disrespectful person to deny me my own funds. When I could have tried another branch but they took up so much of my time I now have to wait until Monday for a withdraw of my money which is extremely inconsistent with customer service and inconvenient of my time. I provided multiple forms of ID. I heard her phone conversation and she was trying to persuade whom ever she was speaking with not to give me my funds. Utterly disgusting experience with Chase...Shame on you Chase this employee needs to be re-trained...

Awful service. I called the branch, I can’t get a person, need to make an appointment to ask a simple question. WTF I want an answer not jump through hoops to get an answer. They canceled my free safe deposit box and it took my friend to tell me the reason. She said the reason is you need a balance of $130k to qualify for the free box. Now why did it take my friend to tell me this? She didn’t work there. I was told by customer service to go to the branch and talk to a banker and maybe I can retain my free box. I dashed down to this branch and the idiot teller told me I needed to contact customer service. I told her they told me to come down here to talk to a banker. I was irate and I told her don’t bounce me around like a “ping pong ball.” I happily took her suggestion and closed my box. I was so angry I raised my voice, the security guard stood next to me watching men Who wants to be bounced around? I was sooo happy I closed my account out later and am super happy to open a new account at Sterling Bank where they treat their customers with appreciation and you get a LIVE person when you call the branch. Even Citibank as big as they are, they answer the phone at their branches. This bank sucks in customer service and showing respect to...

ATMs are not accessible after bank hours now. I’ve always been able to tap my card and go into the ATM lobby after work. I work in a restaurant, and I would go to Chase and deposit my tips in the ATM, so I’m not taking the bus home at night carrying hella money. They started closing on Saturdays, and you could still go to the ATMs whenever you tap your card to get in. Now you can’t access the ATM at all when the bank is closed. Doesn’t that defeat the purpose of having an ATM? This bank is the only Chase in the area, and the closest one is on Van Ness, which is in the opposite direction of where I need to go. I work when they’re open, so I guess I can’t use this bank anymore, and that is frustrating because I don’t want to jump through hoops to put some money...
