I have been looking forward to visiting Sezane in SF since it opened, and finally walked by on a day with no line. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The sales floor was not well stocked (only 1-2 sizes of many items) and the sales associates were more interested in talking to one another than helping the customers in the store. When my sister and I finally reached the front of the line for a fitting room, we asked the associate if we could go in together to which she loudly and rudely replied “no, we don’t like letting customers go in together because they chat too much and take too long” clearly referring to three women who were sharing another fitting room. The women exited their fitting room and acknowledged that they had heard the sales associate’s comments about them, and the sales associate denied it, then started complaining to another store employee. Read moreI thought it was important to share my very positive experience at the Sézane store yesterday. I received my order of Sézane shoes in the mail yesterday and immediately realized they needed to be returned for a different pair. I decided to go to the store to see if they might be able to help me directly. When I arrived, it was quite busy in the store. However, I was quickly able to get help at the counter. The person who helped me (I wish I had gotten their name) was kind and understanding. Not only did they help me return and order a new pair of shoes quickly but they also simultaneously navigated a somewhat obnoxious customer who interrupted our conversation and essentially refused to wait their turn. I was looking at the Wendy cardigan online and thought to drop by to see if they have one in-stores. Upon arriving, it felt like the store attendants were quite unattentive; no one welcomed me or approached me to ask what I was looking for. When I finally gave up trying to find it, I decided to ask for help. I asked the girl folding clothes to see if they had the cardigan I was looking for. She spent 30 seconds looking it up and in a dismissive tone replied "we don't carry that in-stores" and then went back to folding. I would have loved to ask if there's something similar in store, but her attitude was rude and made me feel unwelcomed, I so ended up just leaving.
