I recently visited the Lululemon store to address a warranty issue with a fanny pack I received as a gift. The zipper broke within the warranty period, but my experience trying to resolve this was extremely frustrating.
Upon arrival, I was immediately dismissed by the staff because I didn't have a proof of purchase. It wasn't until I got home and re-read their website that I discovered an ID would have sufficed. This made the entire experience even more frustrating and left me wondering what the actual reason was for their gatekeeping. The person who claimed to be the manager was unhelpful and refused to provide further assistance or contact information for higher management. When I asked for her name to have a record of whom I'd spoken to when addressing her boss, she suddenly claimed she wasn't the manager and refused to give her name because she could "tell I was upset." This was entirely fabricated, as I had never raised my voice, made erratic gestures, or issued any threats. Instead, she told me to "google" her boss if I wanted that information.
This simple issue could have been resolved by following their own policy, but instead, I was met with unprofessional conduct and misleading information. It felt like the staff were more focused on turning me away than on providing a positive customer experience.
Overall, what should have been a straightforward warranty claim devolved into a distressing ordeal, leaving me with an utterly abysmal impression of the people that make up Lululemon Fillmore.
Photo: Meet the elusive 'Manager' at Lululemon Fillmore—master of the disappearing name trick and gatekeeping extraordinaire. Warranty claims beware!
UPDATE: Upon taking matters into my own hands and contacting the warranty department via their website I was issued a packing slip to ship my item to be repaired. It took maybe 10 mins @ most to fill out the form online and include the necessary photos. There is no excuse for how that gatekeeping Karen behaved @ the store. ...

In the last few weeks , we have to ask Lulu lemons to turn their music down 6 time weekly. The Manager states that it’s their policy to have it as loud as possible, and they will keep it as loud as they can regardless of how it affects others. Also, LuLu Lemons sensor alarm is very loud and is constantly going off, we can hear it all day long. When it is broken it goes off constantly and no one in store is doing anything.
Their music base is so loud it shakes our chandelier and vibrates our treatment tables.
Lulu lemon also sent a contractor into our office walking through our space loudly without introducing themselves to my staff, or asking if we had treatments in progress. We have to ask lululemon what they needed help with, the manager was very short and stated it was concerning her store and they do what they need,. It is very disrespectful and rude not to recognize other business space and walk up here like she owns Redmint and the entire building, instructing my staff to help her contractor and leaving us to watch over their contractor.I had to ask him several times to stop talking loudly on speaker while walking through our...
Read moreI am a loyal customer at lululemon. Each lululemon I’ve been to I’ve had great experiences, very helpful, checking up on me and this was the worst experience. I’ve never felt discriminated until my visit here at filmore lululemon. My friend and I both came here to shop, I had a return to make & was given a very poor attitude and communication with the members here. As I finish my return I proceed to shop around, the workers are following me. My friend and I both get fitting rooms, I do NOT get checked up on while my friend besides me does. This has never happened and I will NEVER be shopping here again. I also asked a member if she could hold some items I was purchasing for my family to the side while I try my items, and when I step out of my fitting room she left and did not communicate with me that she left my items taken to the front. Again the communication with each different members was HORRIBLE. It’s unacceptable that I have been treated discriminated at brand store I have been shopping at for YEARS. This is the first and last time I will be ever shopping at this lululemon...
