Selling here is rough. You have to wait two hours approximately on a Tuesday around noon. Can't imagine a weekend.
I sold an ASOS denim longline shacket very slim fitting, a black bomber jacket from Spotify, a black Theory A line dress, 2 pairs of brand spanking new Sam Edelman sandals, Ralph Lauren pumps, a very vintage Coach doctors bag, a Marc Jacobs black bucket bag - very sleek and without a lot of visible logos and a dust cover, a buttery soft black leather Skagen purse which was brand new with a dust cover and a small cheap but cute no name lilac purse. I got $47 and I only know this because I asked for the itemized receipt specifically. The item brands are not called out on it but the two jackets were $5 and $9, the dress was $2, the Marc Jacobs purse fetched the highest amount at $13 (that was called out specifically). My other bags went for $5 and $9. Two of the pairs of shoes each got priced at $2 and one of the third ones got priced at $0.10!
These prices are quite low. I know everyone feels their stuff is worth more but what is worth $0.10 besides two pieces of Bazooka gum?
The items they have for sale there are pretty bad for the most part. I have however gotten two clutches there that were really cool and an army style jacket. It's hit or...
Read moreWalked in for the first time and was immediately physically touched on the arm by their security guard (NEVER IN YOUR LIFE, PLEASE) who told me I would have to leave my purse at the front. I would understand if it was a large shopping bag or something not being used as a purse, but it's completely unreasonable to ask someone to leave their purse unattended - save for an apathetic employee that isn't guaranteed to stay stationed there - near the open front entrance of a retail store. I said I wasn't okay with leaving it with them and the security guard directed me to an equally non-understanding employee who reinforced that any bags or purses have to be left at the front as it's their company policy. I've been to their Sherman Oaks and Melrose locations multiple times with WAY larger bags than the one I was carrying this day and have NEVER been told anything about them. I left immediately without having the opportunity to shop here.
If you're afraid of shoplifters, invest in your security system and your security guard training. Don't put the onus on the potential customer, it's just bad business practice; super tacky as well. Won't be back to ANY location after this interaction!
Ps. I wish this place was...

When this place first opened a few years ago, I really liked it. It had fair prices, clean store, and you could count on the clothing, not being stained. Since then, it has sadly gone downhill. Prices have slowly gone up, even though I’ll see the same item sitting there sometimes for months at a time without a reduction in price. The racks are often over stuff to the point where it’s hard to browse and see what’s in there.
Below I’ll post a photo of some of the theological pricing. These are two skims shirts they had for sale. One with stains priced at $29 one without stain price for $19. How does this make sense?
Besides that you’ll see basic brands like Zara priced sometimes over $50. Their athletic wear selection is trash, they rarely have nice brands like Lulu or aloe and when they do, they are ridiculously overpriced. For example, I saw an aloe coat there for over $100. Something like that you would see at a competitor store more in the $40 range.
Anyways, it’s nice to pop into if you’re in the area it’s worth checking out. You might stumble upon a good deal. But I wouldn’t go out of my way...
