Came on a Sunday night. We were attended to immediately by our server who was knowledgeable on the beers and food we had questions on. We ordered the Modern Times pale ale and house Malbec, both very delicious. For eats we had the carne asada fries (picadillo beef vs chunks of steak over top of fries which is customary for me for this type dish) and their bulgogi fried rice (pleasantly surprised on how good it tasted, rice was moist). Both were good. Their menu was recently updated and some items were taken off the list which was the reason we were lured to try this place on this night, yet they have a great local CA beer selection and wine menu. Also they have a open back patio area aside from the front sidewalk seating. Cleanliness was atop their list from what I observed.

Library Ale House is a really cool spot with a cozy, relaxed vibe that lives up to its name—it almost feels like you’re hanging out in a library that just happens to serve great beer. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for catching up with friends or winding down after a day out. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and they’ve got a solid selection of craft beers on tap, including some local gems. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and looking for a chill place with character and quality drinks.

I love the vibe here- the back is a great place to bring a big group and watch a game, while the front is nice for couples. I did, however, not have the best experience with my order, as I ordered GF the first time and it came out non GF, and then my second order my food was really under cooked. BUT, the staff was really nice and apologetic and took it all off the bill, so I think it was just an accident that likely doesn’t happen often. I still recommend the place and would consider coming back.

I recently visited Library Alehouse and had an extremely disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, it became evident that the establishment had significant issues with its seating arrangement and capacity management. The outdoor-style benches they used for seating were terribly arranged, resulting in an uncomfortable and cramped dining experience. It felt like a mixed seating area gone horribly wrong.

To exacerbate the problem, Library Alehouse seemed to have completely maximized its capacity, squeezing in far more patrons than they could comfortably accommodate. As a result, my group and I were subjected to a subpar service quality that left us feeling ignored and neglected. Our orders were forgotten multiple times, and we had to repeatedly remind the staff about our needs.

One of the most baffling aspects of our visit was the absence of a convenient water service. The only option available was a campout-sized water jug situated in the back. To my disbelief, I witnessed people resorting to pouring water directly into their mouths like feral animals when the place got super busy. This lack of a proper water distribution system was not only unhygienic but also extremely unprofessional for a supposedly reputable establishment.

The combination of uncomfortable seating, overcrowding, and poor service ultimately ruined what could have been a pleasant dining experience at Library Alehouse. It is evident that the management needs to reevaluate their seating arrangements and capacity limits to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable environment for their patrons. Furthermore, they should invest in a proper water dispensing system to avoid the spectacle of customers resorting to uncivilized behavior due to the lack of basic amenities.

Considering the numerous issues we encountered during our visit, I cannot recommend Library Alehouse to others seeking a pleasant dining experience. The establishment's failure to address these fundamental shortcomings left me thoroughly disappointed, and I will be hesitant to return in the future.

Despite this their burgers where high qaulity and I thouroughly enjoyed their food, its a shame this was overshadowed by the rest of...

I think when I read about this place and that it was a "library" ale house I thought it meant it would have a massive selection of beer. Essentially they have stapled various books to the wall (hence the term - library). I thought this concept was nifty but the beer selection wasn't as large as I would have expected. The beer selection itself is not super special. I think having more local beers would have also been cool, and maybe 2-3 per category. The food was okay but a bit overpriced. It was fun to try one time but I don't think I would be back.

(I updated this slightly and lost the response from the business because of this). To library ale house... when I think large selection of beers I would assume 30-40. I guess having that all on tap would be impossible so would have to also consist of bottled beers. This was not a terrible place. I mean I am sure local patrons love it. I just thought that for the price of the beer and food selection (I am vegetarian so maybe that's harder to accommodate on the menu), it was a...

Sat in the back patio. Got the order of buffalo wings since I had been craving them in general for a while. They came out cold while the next table got theirs steaming hot so I told one of the other employees since our waitress was no where to be found. That employee just said "ok I'll take care of it" but wouldn't say what exactly he was going to do. Our waitress comes back and I tell her about the cold wings and she asks if I want a new dish or something else and I tell her about the other employee was doing something about it but I didn't know what...anyways in the end I got a whole new dish of hot wings and waitress was apologetic and even took it off the bill. But there needs to be better staff communication. Otherwise my dinner companions enjoyed their fried...
